Oh c'mon Wall Street Journal. What do you really know about politics? Just count your money and shut up.

WSJ has been an anti-Obama voice since day 1. This piece was on an Opinion page, not News. They got facts to back this up? Doubt it. Smoking gun type e-mail or written order, where Big O says, "Go after those bozos"? I'll wager a modest amount of cash NOT!

Prove it.

Not for me, but others here demand proof when you voice an opinion like that.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wall_Street_Journal_editorial_board

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board members oversee the journal's editorial page and represent the newspaper and its editorial page publicly. The WSJ does not provide details on the exact duties of board members.

Every Saturday at 11:00 PM EST, three editorial page writers and host Paul Gigot, editor of the Editorial Page, appear on Fox News Channel's Journal Editorial Report to discuss current issues with a variety of guests. Bret Stephens and Jason Riley are the board members who appear the most.

As editors of the editorial page, Vermont C. Royster (served 1958–1971), and Robert L. Bartley (served 1972–2000), were especially influential in providing a conservative interpretation of the news on a daily basis.

Current members of the editorial board

* Brian Carney
Yale College 93rd Chairman of the Party of the Right

* Paul A. Gigot
conservative political commentator

* Daniel Henninger
Deputy Editorial Page Director of the Wall Street Journal and a Fox News contributor. Like many of the Journal's editorial page staff, he generally takes conservative stances on politics. This is observed in his columns in WSJ

* Melanie Kirkpatrick
no WIKI information available

* Mary Kissel
Claremont University Lincoln Fellow and a Stanford University Hoover Institution Edwards Media Fellow.[4] She has spoken at the Milken Institute and National Press Club of Australia

* Holman W. Jenkins Jr

Aside from writing for The Wall Street Journal, he has also written for Policy Review (Policy Review one of America's leading conservative journals) and National Review (National Review (NR) founded by author William F. Buckley, Jr., ... describes itself as "America's most widely read and influential magazine and web site for conservative news, commentary, and opinion.")

* Matthew Kaminski

* Stephen Moore
... American economic writer and policy analyst, who founded and served as president of the Club for Growth (fiscally conservative 501(c)4 organization active in the United States of America, with an agenda focused on cutting taxes and other economic issues) from 1999 to 2004. He is currently a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board and frequently opines on the pages of their op-ed section. Moore is known for advocating free-market policies and supply-side economics.

* Mary O'Grady
O'Grady has consistently taken a sceptical conservative stance on events in Latin America, opposing many of the leftist political movements that have arisen there in recent years, and supporting right-wing governments like that of Alvaro Uribe in Colombia.

* Robert L. Pollock

* Dorothy Rabinowitz
In 1999, Rabinowitz wrote an editorial in the Wall Street Journal about Juanita Broaddrick, an Arkansas woman who alleged that then President Bill Clinton had raped her.[12] Rabinowitz took the woman's story at face value, writing "To encounter this woman, to hear the details of her story and the statements of the corroborating witnesses, was to understand that this was in fact an event that took place."[13] She also wrote approvingly of Republican presidential candidate John McCain in both the 2000[14] and 2008 U.S. presidential elections.

* Jason Riley (WSJ)
no WIKI information available

* Nancy deWolf Smith
no WIKI information available

* Bret Stephens
frequent contributor to Commentary magazine (Commentary ... became a leading voice of neoconservatism by 1976)

* Kimberley Strassel

Strassel profiled Sarah Palin in a 2008 article entitled I Haven't Always Just Toed the Line. The article originally appeared in the Weekend Interview section of The Wall Street Journal on November 1, 2008.
In 2012, Strassel wrote an editorial in the WSJ that alleged the Obama campaign was targeting Frank L. VanderSloot, a national finance co-chair for Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign and a top campaign donor.[2] Strassel's editorial was disputed by Rachel Maddow,[3] Lewiston Morning Tribune editor Marty Trillhaase,[4] and David Shere of Media Matters for America

He asked for proof that his source was partisan - I dug it up for him.

I don't expect he'll be back saying - you know, I asked for proof and you proved it, you're right. Let's discuss this. It's not a matter of you ignoring him. He'll ignore you, and me, and everyone else who posts to his thread.

So once again you fail to address facts and fail to apply logic to the topic you yourself bring up for discussion. You would be funny if you weren't so pathetic.

Why should any of us treat you any differently from little rappy or PN? You make just as much sense as they do.

You want proof? You can't handle the proof!

So you say you handed my ass to me on a platter. Was there at least some duck sauce or other condiment to go with it, 'cause I just detest ungarnished ass. And no doubt, you are very proud of yourself.

Thank you, Kiki. Jong aimed his challenge right at ME.I'm glad you went out and dug up the supporting facts. I KNEW it was TRUE, but I'm sure I couldn't have found backup without a lot of effort , and I'm getting to lazy to work that hard.
E-T-A: I didn't remember that Murdoch had bought the paper. Now that I see it mentioned in your post, it does come back to mind. And with him around, of course they're gonna be anti-Obama.

Hey, dude, don't go making provocative challenges like that, and then saying, " but not for me..." That's pretty chicken-s***, not being willing to stand up for a challenge you just made.

Well, I certainly won't challenge you, and was surprised Jong did at all. I well remembered Murdoch bought WSJ, was sad at the time, and never forgot it.

The pattern is pretty clear. One of our hard-core righties puts up something easily debunked; someone goes to the effort of refuting it with facts and figures; they never come back with anything but snarks, ever.

Maybe they're just not CAPABLE of intelligent discourse, I dunno. Haven't we had posted a few things about FauxNews viewers being more uninformed, and/or party indicating IQ or something? Being here makes me wonder how valid those studies might be...

It just sure makes them look sad, not being able to keep up with even a simple debate and only making silly, childish cracks...maybe we should just completely ignore them and carry on intelligent conversations around them, unless and until one shows up who can at LEAST contribute to the conversation... Hell, maybe they're ALL just Rap's sock puppets (which would mean Rap has no life WHATSOEVER!)...

And there goes Jong again, with his "PMS" thing regarding Kiki. Where did that come from, and why just Kiki, one wonders casually...

Hey, Niki, I don't MIND being challenged. Keeps me sharp. I've BEEN WRONG, sometimes-- I can take being shown that. I've admitted that. You and the ladies here whupped up on me once for being a Male Chauvinist Pig. I deserved it, at least for not respecting your ( collective ) Point of View. But I still remember it well.

Sometimes I'm too lazy to dig up proof I'm right, like I woulda been about this one. I KNEW it was true, but didn't have the slightest idea where to look for the facts backing me. I'm glad Kiki did it, saved me the trouble.

The thing that Really pisses me OFF, tho', is when I dig up proof, enough proof to be convincing, and the challenger won't admit I was Right. I do it when I'm wrong, why can't they? Besides the obvious reason that they're such stubborn pea-brains that they just won't...

I just noticed that Jong only bothered to challenge me on one sentence of my post.

Didn't see him respond to the fact that this was an Op-ED piece, not a reporting of NEWS.
I also notice that he didn't answer MY questions: Do they have any FACTS? DO they have any sort of smoking gun? No response would suggest that the answer is NO.

Maybe he can dish it out, but can't take it.

That's just Jongsie showing his insecurity, and proving how emasculating it is for him when Kiki bests him time after time after time after time.

It's akin to that idiot frat boy who goes around the bar hitting on all the girls, and when he gets shot down he starts in with the sour grapes "Yeah, she's probably a lesbian anyway" excuses.

Jongsie seems to think that any woman who can whip his ass in a battle of wits must just be hormonal. And consequently I bet he thinks an awful lot of women are PMS-ing, since the number of women who can best him in a debate would fill a book large enough to stun a team of oxen.
