You know that a ton of that money is going to be embezzled, just like they were doing in Gary, IN a few years back when a bunch of the local politicians went to prison.

That being said though, I don't exactly disapprove of how whatever money is left over is going to be spent. There are worse ways to spend money than building up a neighborhood by repairing houses.

But with $10 million over the next 10 years, there is going to be so much fraud going on, and if they're going to hire a bunch of gypsy house flippers to do the work, the people who's houses are being worked on might be in worse shape than they are right now.

A few years back in NWI a house burned down because of bad electrical wiring that was done by house flippers 11 years prior. There was also no point of egress in the bedroom where the people slept, so if they hadn't been out of town when the fire went down they would have been burned alive.
