Hey everyone. You've probably all heard me bitching about the truly awful idea to build a nuclear power plant in the Escalante Desert in Utah, and divert water from the Colorado and Green River to do so.

Here's yet another reason this is a bad idea. Hopefully this will finally kill this project.

Omigawd, that's awful! I wonder if people will EVER look beyond short-term profit and give a single thought to the potentially horrific results!

Seems the way it goes these days, the Gov keeps handing medicare contracts to KNOWN scammers, who have often been freakin prosecuted for defrauding medicare or its recipients, and considering how hard it happens to be to GET anyone prosecuted for that, we're talkin some really outrageous levels of it, don't even get me started on First Health/Coventry or Total Health Care, the latter of which a couple pennies of that dollar are mine cause that chart telling doctors to prescribe by cost rather than effectiveness...
I jacked that personally and handed it to the prosecutor myself.

Yeah, I know, but I can hope.

This is honestly one of those cases where I can't tell if everyone involved is just flagrantly incompetent or if the whole thing is a malicious scam.

Due to the recent revelations, I'm kinda leaning towards the later. We'll be lucky if tthey don't have an insurance, government subsidy, clean-up and repair scam going at this rate. Meanwhile they're telling themselves it's fine because we're all downwinders anyway.

I sure hope they don't build it Byte, you know I'm opposed to nuclear power now after Fukashima, never really liked it before that but I wasn't firmly against it yet.
