The most coveted resources are off the coasts of Lebanon and Syria, which explains why Assad put so much emphasis in defending his more populous coastal provinces and coastline. The US government's way of resolving differences is to take what Israel, the Western oilsters, and the Rothschild banksters tell them to take. A "pipe dream" if there ever was one! USA LNG supplies are likely to be 20-50% higher in price than locally-piped gas. Why anyone would keep beating/ invest in this dead horse in beyond me.
