The recently formed Piedmont Browncoats (made up of members from the areas of Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Lexington, and others nearby) will be hosting a "getting to know you" Shinding on December the 16th at the homes of a couple of Browncoats. For more information on that, and specific times, location, and details, check out: http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/piedmontbrowncoats

Also, the Piedmont Browncoats intend to host a larger Shinding during High Point's StellarCon: due to some inconveniences with booking a party space, the Shinding will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2006, at the High Point National Guard Armory, just up the road from the Downtown Radisson (the host hotel).

If you're headed into High Point for StellarCon, we'd love to have you, and we're eager to meet new NC Browncoats. So make plans to attend, and hopefully we'll see you at StellarCon!

HRMMAGGIE

Wow! So that's where StellarCon ended up! I've been out of the loop for a VERY long time, and wasn't even sure it survived. I was involved in producing it in the early '80's when it was still on the campus of UNC-G. Any alumnaie from that long ago still around? I'd love to make contact. I'm logged on to this website as HRMMaggie.
