For those of you who have yet to avail yourself of the splendour that is the Firefly DVD or if you merely wish to have the perfect Christmas gift for 250 of your closest friends, go to Play.com who are selling the set for just £17.99.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

At the current conversion rate that is about $34.06 in US Dollars, which is just slightly less than amazon.com, so not that much of a bargain for me really. I just wish that when amazon recently had the sale on select FOX titles for just $14.99US that they had included Firefly in the deal. I would definitely have bought several at that price.

For those FFF in the US, the cheapest I could find the DVD set (new & at a reasonably respectable site) was at Overstock.com. It lists as $32.64. Tax is free, but shipping is still charged. I sent one as a gift to Seatle, WA and the total was $34.04...just a little cheaper than Amazon. Anyone else find it cheaper?

That will do very nicely, I need one or two of those for Christmas. Thanks for the link, I was about to go to Amazon as usual.

the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

Amazon lists it @$34.99, but you can get it from them for less:

While checking around I noticed Amazon.co.uk have it at £16.97, slightly cheaper than Play. They do charge postage for orders under £19 though so you'd have to buy it along with something else to take advantage.
