I've got the following quotes I'm thinking of using. I'm looking for opinions, quotes you like & quotes you don't like. Please remember I try to make my shirts for Browncoats of most all ages. For an idea how the shirt may look the following links are for the Jayneisms & Riverisms shirts.

RIVERISMS

JAYNEISMS

Anyway here's the potential quotes for the Kayleeisms design.
************************************************

Hamsters is nice

What's so important about bein'
proper? Don't mean nothin' out here in the black.

Figures. First time on a Core and what do I get to do? Look through trash. Couldn't he send me shopping at the
Triplex, or Oooh!
Synchronizers!

Don't let the space bugs bite!

Oh, it's sweet. Poor little thing never even saw the light of day, now it's in show business!

Oh, look at the pretties!

Oh! Mangoes!

Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

By the way, the 80-10's the same machine, they just
changed the plating and hope no one noticed.

Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

No, it's shiny! I like to meet new people. They've all got stories...

I love my captain.

Well, I'm Kaylee. This is Serenity, and she's the smoothest ride from here to
Boros for anyone who can pay.

All aboard...

You ever sail in a Firefly?

Know how. Machines just got workings, and they talk to me.

Kaylee: Is that him?
Mal: That's the buffet table
Kaylee: Well, how can we be sure? Unless we question it?

But we can't forget this 'jewel' of a Kayleeism...

What about "it's broke!" with or without the "sometimes a thing gets broke, can't be fixed" (I'm paraphrasing here, of course you'll want to check the real thing).

Or maybe something about the over-frilly dress? (I don't remember any quotes, I just know it's funny).

And of course: don't forget to surround the quotes with christmas lights! (and/or flowers, but I like the christmas lights better)

:)

One more: "Now see, this'd be the perfect
time for a swear-word."

My favorites from your list:

Oh, it's sweet. Poor little thing never even saw the light of day, now it's in show business!

Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Well, I'm Kaylee. This is Serenity, and she's the smoothest ride from here to
Boros for anyone who can pay. (I would add "You can? Pay? Or whatever the rest of this line is.)

You ever sail in a Firefly?

Know how. Machines just got workings, and they talk to me.

Here's some more good ones:

Oh well let's see... We killed Simon and River, stole a bunch of medicine, and the Cap'n and Zoe are springin' the others got snatched by the Feds.

Wash, tell me I'm pretty.

The whole point of swearing is that it ain't appropriate!

That's my good girl.

I've always liked the first part of the exchange:

Kaylee: "You're gonna come with us."
Book: "Excuse me?"
Kaylee: "You like ships. Don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is ships and mine is the nicest."

See, you need an em-dash (--) to get the "interrupting myself" feel of it.

Yeah, but that one's only really funny if it has the full line:

It's the "bye" that sells it as a "have a nice day" equivalent.

Yeah, I've been doing a might too much proofreading.

I think the "genius" part may mean its it Chinese (I got it from an online episode transcript) - and some Chinese characters in the middle of the quote would make it even better, of course.

I also love...
Simon: Can you move your feet? Kaylee. Stay with me. Can you move your feet?
Kaylee: Are you asking me to dance...?

Kaylee: You are a nice man, Captain. You always looking after us. You just gotta have faith in people.

Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this?
Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Kaylee: Hey, sweetie. Don't feel bad. He makes everybody cry. He's like a monster.

Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

Kaylee: Hey, Captain. Captain!
Simon: Hey...Mal, uh, Mal... No, nuh-nuh-nothing happened. No, there was, uh, there was some drinking, but, uh, we, no we certainly didn't. No, I would never ! Not with Kaylee...
Kaylee: What do you mean, Not with me?

Inara: So, do aliens live among us?
Kaylee: One of 'em's a doctor.

Look, they got boy whores! Isn't that thoughtful? Wonder if they service girlfolk at all.

Are you asking me to dance...?

Don't feel bad. He makes everybody cry. He's like a monster.

What do you mean, Not with me?

Too bad the boy-whores one isn't family friendly. It's a funny line. :)
