The Whedonverse Multimedia Project is a celebration of Joss Whedon's creations and all those who were a part of bringing his vision to life. Today is an opportunity to celebrate him - not just his works. Please join us in wishing Joss a happy birthday!

The Project began with a tribute to Joss Whedon by donating a complete set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, and Firefly to his hometown library in New York. Currently, we're raising money to provide a complete set to a library in Los Angeles. Its about time he got an update on our progress.

So we would like to him a brief little information kit letting him know about all the good work this fandom has done in supporting public libraries. While we're at it, we'd be more than happy to include your birthday wishes or general messages of good will. So, feel free to post your thoughts to Joss at the link above and we'll include them in our kit, which will be going out to him via his talent agency tomorrow.

I just got into Firefly because the DVD set was the only thing I wanted for my birthday, which happens to be the 23rd.

I just thinks thats a wierd coincedence.
