i'm from a little town in merseyside, but there is a small place called sutton there, not the one u were talking of tho i now realise.

Two things I liked about Alien: Resurrection - the almost proto-Serenity-crew crew, and the cool alien-ness of Ripley8. Otherwise, not so bad... but the babyAlien thing wasn't very good at all.

Went to the parents' place for dinner. One of my dad's old navy buddies was there. That was cool. He and I stood out on the deck and talked for probably an hour. He's watched me grow up so it's interesting to hear his take on my life. It was fun.

I'm not even going to try to catch up on what I've missed over the weekend...Damned stupid internet.

Speaking of which, Carol, as I can't participate in the Crew Challenges (ie upload photos) I've decided to jump ship. Have no idea when I'll get the internet back at home so seems silly staying on the crew when I can't do anything. Shame really as had strawberries yesterday...

Popped into the West End yesterday a) to go see Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and b) to get Serenity 2. Could only find the Book cover - anyone find a different one? I wanted Kaylee so Jewel can sign it in November - bah! But I do have another stockist to add to our list (how could I forget when I worked down the road from them for nearly 5 years?!), GOSH on Great Russell Street, opposite the British Museum. Only £2.00.

(Oh yeah, am sad today because I watched the final Dead Like Me last night. Another wonderful series gone too soon...The only thing that will cheer me up is arriving home to find Michael Praed & Jason Connery sat on my doorstep!)

Well given that we still seem to be in constant communication I can't have left you, can I? Here, have some chocolate and snap out of it!

Was it frightening? I dunno - no more so that the original & in fact they left out the scary bit from that film where they nearly get caught in those blades...Mind you, have to be honest - I did find the trailer quite disturbing, more so than the film itself. And now I've got that darned "Willie Wonka" song stuck in my head! (ooh, the burning dolls - can see how that would scare children. Nasty!). Did make me hungry though...

Do we expect Jaina back today?
