You're the guy. Or the god. Or whatever. Man, you rock.

Things that make me happy:

*Fireflyfans.net, regardless of that which shall not be named (am I even using that correctly? i hope, otherwise i look like a dork...) cos I think all of us regulars are big damn heroes!
*Almost being done with a big project at work and the thought of putting the whole sordid affair that it has become behind me
*Water aerobics. Yeah, I'm a dork. But it's bouncing and splashing!
*Coke. I like it a lot.
*Readin' good books.
*Have shiny Browncoats as my friends.

I could go on and on.

Good food-my family believes that it's rude to share, and dangerous to take from another's plate. We all have fork holes in our hands from learning the hard way.

Good Books-cheapest vacation I can think of. Plus it's the exact opposite of exercise.

Fellow browncoats- 'nuff said.

Good Sci-Fi movies-Frankly I'm too cute to be a dork, but you still won't see me dressing up at a con. Maybe as Inara, but that's 'cause she wears pretty things anyway. I don't do latex.

Sean Maher-see comment about fellow browncoats.

Pretty days at the beach before tourist season opens-days like that, you ACTUALLY hear the ocean. Absolutely beautiful, the way the Big Guy/Girl/Tamale meant for it to be enjoyed.

First coffee of the morning-people who know me know that I am to be avoided at all costs beforehand.

Sarahetc.'s Browncoat Chronicles-possibly my new favorite author.

*Chipotle(cool burrito place, best burrito I've ever had...I think it's in Santa Clara)
*Books, currently of the Wooster and Jeeves variety
*my little dog snoring on the couch next to me

Damn! You are too nice.

Next one is still in the planning stages and at this point, the plan is: Radegund, Channain and Saint! Listening to Dar Williams inspired me so I'm thinking SaintofCheese like:

With my long black coat hanging down in the dirt
And my hair clinging to my face in the rain
Like a goddess from the cult of beautiful pain!
I don't wanna be another mystery, oh no....

I hope that that's something that makes Saint happy. And you too, Angel. I mean, how could I have a BC without Angel?

*shiney brown coats on sale at the mall

*my neice's innocent, "what's this" when she saw my FF disks - that turned into a weekend marathon with big brown fluffy floor pillows and tons of popcorn. We now have a new fan who is in the process of converting her family.

*watching anime and realizing my Japanese is progressing enough that I'm needing the subtitles for fewer and fewer words.

*weather that is warm enough to use my bike instead of my dying car, although I'm having trouble hooking the dinos to the handlebars. hmm. Maybe I need a basket and some of that landscape foam they use with rpg mini's....

*getting back my Lensman books in good shape even though the person I lent them to passed them through several other people on the way back to me.

Not my poetry. Dar lyrics!

And I haven't registered cos I don't know if I can afford it. Plane tickets are not cheap. And I just don't think it's a driveable distance--though I would do it if there was someone else down here who would like to try road tripping with me.

Everyone should listen to "Feels so Good" by Chuck Magnione.

It's impossible to be sad around this song.

I am referring to the 3-minute version. The original 9-minute version actually starts out kind of sad and then gets happy.

Gimme more song ideas please, you've got my kinda taste in music. That made me smile silly.

Also, Otis Redding’s Shout is a song that can make anyone happy and sing embarrassingly loud.

Hey Kaythryn,

I got "The Tube" off of kazaa last november. The only time I've seen it since is when I'm on kazaa. If you can't download let me know. Even though you still haven't replied to my last letter I might be persuaded to send you a copy. If you use a couple nice words like 'please'.

Happy Happy Joy Joy. Hi kids. Do you all hate me now? I feel bad for being mean and for threatening people on the evil thread. Sorry about that. I saw this thread and thought it would be a good place to say that I was not serious about that, I was just angry cause Succatash told me his site had been tanked. I took it out on everybody. Sorry. I am happy now though, I swear!!!
Proof you say? very well. I am smiling. I think about you all trying to bring us back to a semblance of what we were, and I am thankful. I blame no one for anything, anymore. I have come to the conclusion that I just don't care enough about hurting others to persist in the feeling it leaves in my stomach (and probably theirs too). It's nice to be free. I love Kaythryn for her reason. I love Sarahetc for her passion. I love Haken for his responsibility and acceptance. I love my good buddy Succatash without question.

Thank you for that. That one really scared me. I had to take an extra Celexa and 2 perscription-strength Zantacs that night. Then, of course I made my first post in response which was written in blind panic. I have learned in the last few days that blind panic and blind rage look exactly the same in print. If I could, I would e-mail you a Zantac.

Happy thoughts:
1. People finally calming down and behaving like grown-ups after the Famous Four-Day Firefly Flame War.

2. Celexa - It's an anti-depressant/anti-anxiety pill - highly recommended for all fans -especially anyone who posted on the other thread.

3. Bizzaro-mutant fans like Kaythryn who have somehow, against all odds and in spite of fannishness, managed to evolve a sense of proportion.

4. Brittany Spaniels with little nubbly tails and pink freckly nosies - especially Spot (aka Pupple) who loves me almost as much as he loves other people's sandwiches.

And it was still more intereesting than OJ.
