Cancelation, basic response: Bad ads failed to capture the show, Episodes shown out of order (including the "previously on Firefly..." which made people feel they missed something and were lost.) oh and timeslot was changed and ended up in the "deathslot" Friday night. And worst, preempted for

sports for several weeks at a time.

I a have run soime and played some RPGs but to tell the truth I haven't roleplayed in quite a long time. (like a decade!)

But I computer game, Halo/Xbox, occasional RTS games.

Last year during the hurricanes my workplace became a shelter. I work in a computere lab so we screened movies for like 30 hours and gamed. RTS and FPSs.

I am in Central Florida. As some of you have noticed I am a robotech fan. I like other anime like Cowboy Bebop, Miyazaki stuff and so on. Big star wars fan, star trek, dr. who, apple computers, chicago anything fan. Comic books!

What else am I interested in? God is my main focus. I am a teen worker with my church.

I work tech support butthats only my day job. I am an artist .I am tryingto break in as aconcept artist for computer games and film.

I also like history, and fun. They don't sound like they go together , do they. I used to paintball, bike, work out. Now, not so much.

Movies man! I am a movie afficionado! Looking forward to serenity!

Also Music! I love music! all kinds! I am just getting over a punk music like phase and am in a movie soundtrack mode. But, I like a wide range of eclectic music.

I can proudly say that my DVD set has probably spent fewer than 10 evenings under my roof this entire year. I've been working steadily on converting my entire office. I've got 8 (plus possibly their kids and/or spouses) who're planning to go with me on opening night plus a number of others who I'm fairly certain will go opening weekend. And while yes, it can be hard to have the disks out of my hands, the feeling of knowing I've spread the love makes up for it. Besides, there's always the second set I've been meaning to buy...

Just recent to Firefly, caught it by lucky accident on sci-fi. Was totally blown away.

Absolutely love the show. Crushed when discovered it’s only a partial season run. Well, at least glad I’m gonna savor experiencing it for the first time, and then there’s Serenity.

Thanks for responding, though a tad cryptic to me.

Have only seen four Firefly eps so the lingo’s in the rough.

‘Dark Angel’ a show? Sounds vaguely familiar, but if so, no dice. Did watch ‘Angel’ though, also (like Firefly) by chance. Didn’t realize it and ‘Buffy’ were Joss Whedon’s until saw ads for Firefly stating such.

If reference pertains to something else, don’t know what to say except my nature does not generally cotton to any Dark Angels, unless involves some ironic or satiric twist.

Bit off topic, but do have some questions, can’t seem to locate info. Saw “ask Evil Doc” thread (LOL) but didn’t want to take up the space. Been working in photoshop for a good while, but online is a relatively new thing and tech crossover questions abound. Is there any way to one on one with someone in the know? Feel a bit odd discussing my ignorance in such a public forum, like the bad dream where you find yourself in some public place and realize you’re wearing no pants.

Am ‘flying in the dark’ here, which with the “Angel” ref… reminds me of joke I read on another site. Something like this, I’m paraphrasing…
