What happend to fireflysupport.com?

Have you visited http://www.fireflysupport.com lately? It's now "The League of Whedon's World Writers and Artists," whatever that is. The site's FAQ doesn't mention any involvement by Joss, though his name is on the site, and I couldn't find any mention of what happened to the old firefly support, a site that I, like many of you, relied on for updates on the ongoing battle to save Serenity. Does anybody know what the deal is with this new site? Or what happened to firefly support?

Are these people for real? I guess they are the true fans and the rest of us are just nobody. The stick is so far up their ass they spit woodchips. I wouldn't want my site affiliated with theirs or submit myself to their ruling council. Just take a look at their requirements and ask yourself "Is this how I want to show my support and spread the word to others?" Justice league, more like the Legion Of Doom.

Speaking of websites, I still have alot of work to do on mine, but take a look anyways, you might get a laugh or at least see a couple pretty pictures.

Most Region Leaders have the ability to sing very well, but this varies between regions. Avoid mimes, ballet dancers, and library storytellers at all costs.

The most important thing we can do is stick together. Don't answer the telephone unless you have to.

A report from the trenches: I am surrounded by these people. They are all wearing the area-code jersey and talk of nothing but their singing guru. There are posters of him on every door and window in my beleaguered city. I have met no other members of our underground resistence.

Today I ate lunch where there was a sandwich named after the guru. Could the League have infiltrated this far? What awaits those of us that shrug off the tyranny of the fandom?

And if you must answer the phone, please answer it after our tradition and fashion, so as to set your fellows at ease.
