Yay! They finally got off their lazy bums and gave us the soundtrack. Though I would have preferred an actual CD, this will have to do. :)

Whoo-hoo!

I bought it. Yay! Anyone remember how to spell the composer's name? Is it Greg Edmonson?

Argh! It says the country I have put for my address (the UK) is not supported! What do I do? :(

Sadly the sites is not set up terribly well. If you have problums with invalid adress go to the contact options on the left there and let them know your haveing trouble. As always they aren't likely to change anything but they flat out /won't/ if no one brings it up.

Also if you have any sort of pop-up blocker (just learned this today) you will have to hold down CTRL before you click on the 'dowload entire soudtrack' after purchaseing it or it will give a goofy error. Simple fix but i was unaware of it at the time.

How big is the file? IF I can manage it I have to download it at school and put it onto a USB drive thingy. I need to know how big the file is in order to even know if I can download it. (I have dial-up at home).

I MIGHT be able to get a friend to DL it for me, but I want to do it myself if it's possible.

Thanks for the quick response on the info :)

I hope you mean Mb. (you wrote mg...I don't know what an mg is :))

If it's 37Mb I might just be able to grab it at school. I have a 256Mb usb drive thingy. :)

17 tracks about 2 mins each.

I am a little disappointed though, the music where River is dancing in "Safe"(I think) is not in the compilation!!

You know the music I am talking about? Its like flutey celtic.. I am not describing it well. You know.

Can anyone help me locate the music I am referring to?

Calhoun,

Greg didn't include any source music on the CD, only original score. This is normal for soundtracks. The same applies to the Hero of Canton, since Greg didn't write that.

Someone else asked this same question on another thread. Maybe you guys can come up with something together?

It seems the tracks are available as higher quality mp3s now, so it might be worth taking a gander!

I'll let y'all know if this is the case when I go back and look in a bit.

Yep, I just re-downloaded and got a 57MB file of mp3's, sampling at 192K bits / sec instead of 128K like the old batch. Much better.

This thread includes all of sneaker98's mp3's ripped direct from the show. I plan on using them to mix things up a bit with my soundtrack. There are 2 under Safe for the "dance"

So, I bought the 37MB zip file at 128k. Do I need to buy again to get the 57MB 192k file?? Because that would really suck having to pay again.

How do I re-download the new file?

Go to the site and the soundtrack should still be there in 'My Stuff' when you log in. You can then download it again and it will/should be the mp3 version.

And can I just say... WOOO!! It sounds so pretty!

Redownload (doesn't cost anything) and have the mp3s instead.

The WMA's are protected so you can't do anything with them except burn them onto a CD. Once they're on CD, I think you should be able to do whatever you want with them, as you would with tracks on any CD.

No "Hero of Canton", no River Dance from "Safe", and since I'm in Ireland it won't let me download it anyway.

You can tell it's Fox, can't you?

Okay, here we go again.

1. If it doesn't like your country, use 'United States' with city, state and zip code as NY, NY and NY12345 respectively.

2. It may not like your credit card, so try others if you have them, or ask a friend if you can use theirs. Going halfway and letting them have the track too is a great conversion tool, I reckon.

3. The tracks are now available for download as fully usable mp3s. If you've paid already and got WMAs, go back and download again, it doesn't cost anything. If you've not tried it yet at all, go for it, what are you waiting for?!

Anything else that needs repeating?

No, it doesn't have all the tracks that we want. No, it isn't laid out in the best way on the website. No, it's not available in stores.

But here's the important thing. We fans pulled together and yelled at FOX until we got results. And we did. That makes us mighty. This is a victory, no matter how small. I, for one, am not complaining.
