A man said he bought 320 tickets to "Serenity" and on Sept. 30 stood in front of Regal Cinema Cascade 16 theater and gave them away.

And what really makes my day is where I first got linked to this: the Fortean Times website! (FT is a British magazine devoted to the wierd, odd, and generally anomalous. If FT has noticed us, we must really be newsworthy. )

So, anybody wanna claim credit for this act of heroism above and beyond the call of fandom?

Wow and I thought I was doing good with 17. Oh well, there goes my next pay check.

Phaedra (a bad luck name)

ROBINHOOD

The Fortean Times used have a TV program here too, called, well, Fortean TV. http://homepages.enterprise.net/cavan/ysac/fortean.shtml

Hosted by The Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe, a "vicar" who wears leathers and rides a motorbike (I kid you not).
I used to watch it every week. Pitty it was taken off air after series 2 I think

Yep ......................... that went well!

XEROGRAVITY

There's a whole group of people, the dedicated fans of this website, who are making headlines. As if such a thing counts for much. FFF.net devotees are the reincarnation of the fanbase who brought Trek back from the brink of obscure abyssal forgetitude in the 70's and early 80's. Devotion to something unique.

Unfortunately the devotion got sold out. Anyone seen Star Trek: Nemesis? or the final episode of ST:Enterprise Series? Or the last 3 episodes of Star Wars?

XG

No such thing as gravity. The "Earth-that-was" just sucks.
