Well, I'm out. As of today, Cornwall Ontario's Galaxy Cinema has dropped Serenity, which leaves 0 theatres in Cornwall ON playing the BDM.

This thread is to keep track of what theatres have dropped the BDM after two weeks.

Browncoats, sound off.

I know this thread is for theatres that have dropped the movie, but quite frankly that was making me kinda depressed, so I thought I'd interject a little happiness.

As of today, the Silver City in Kitchener, Ontario and the main Cineplex Odeon in Waterloo, Ontario are still playing Serenity at several times throughout the day and evening.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Doesn't appear to have been dropped from any theatres in Richmond, VA, but a couple of theatres are now limited to one or two showings a day now.

In the Atlanta area, I counted about 20 to 25 threaters (in the theater listings in the newspaper) are still playing Serenity this coming week.

I love my little country! Serenity is still standing tall in central England. I went today and it had the same number of showings, just at better times, and there were as many people in the Friday afternoon matinee today as there was in the Saturday evening showing last week.

I mentioned I love my country, right?

LAME audience though. The only sound they made at all was a collective [GASP!] at a certain moment. As well as one or two muttered "Uh oh"s and "Oh my GOD look at him! They did not just do that!"s.

Hoyts Australia seems to be giving Serenity a stronger amount of showings than Village cinemas in Melbourne.

My theater here in Denver (the Westminster Promenade for anyone in the area) is still running four shows a day, though the times are pushed back a little.

Going again tomorrow and taking another friend, this will be three times for MyJim and me. (which is a precendent in of itself. MyJim does not go in for repeat viewings of a film in a theater.)

It hasn't even come in to the theater in my tiny little town in Alberta. I had to drive to the city to see it, and even then they only had it in one out of the three theaters. Sigh. When will they learn?

Didn't lose many theaters in my area (SF Bay Area). The big change was in the number of screens which went down by a little over a quarter.

But I can still see the BDM at one of 120+ showings per day within 40 miles of where I live. So that's not nothing .

Seems only 1 theater in New Castle County, in Delaware has dropped it, and its a good thing they all haven't, cause I know I'm certainly not done going to see it.

Three times now and counting for me and my husband, and 1 each for our roomates.

Charleston, WV -- we are down to two theatres, one of which is only showing one showing a day (9:45pm). And that's within a 75 mile-ish radius...

To give a much needed boost, cinemas here in Adelaide, South Australia have gone from eleven to TWELVE! That's right! ADDING cinemas! Dong ma? ;)

In total we have about seventeen cinemas.

Twelve of Seventeen.

Hardly a kick in the teeth!

Heading to a different cinema each time to keep her flying too...show that EACH one is worth keeping open...

Three trips now and STILL not done.

Keep her flying!

I drove by the 5 Screen Plex here in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. No more. Boohoo.

It is still playing 2 miles down the road in Mission Viejo ... if I find a spare couple of hours this weekend ... BDM for me again!!!! By myself so I won't have to 'splain anything to anyone.

We're in for another week (full schedule) here in Chico, California. I went to the Wednesday night show, and it was pretty well attended for a midweek show.

Because of Katrina no theaters in New Orleans or surrounding areas are open. We had to go to Baton Rouge to see it. It was well worth the two hour trip.

Went to the 5:00P showing today. The bad news is we've been moved to a smaller theater, however, the good, no great news is that theater was almost full (I'd say it sayt 150-200 people)

BALLAD

Well, the Carmike in Salem, VA (about 30 minutes away from me) dropped Serenity this week. BUT, the Valley View Grande here in Roanoke, VA (the theater frequented by us Firefly-crazy college students)is still running 4 shows a day (which is what they were doing when it opened) and every time I've been the theater's been either fuller, or similar to what I'd seen before. Soooo, good news/bad news I guess!

Flying on duct tape and a damaged registry.

Fewer screens, but still playing "everywhere" in the Phoenix AZ area.

Matinee at Desert Ridge was at a small screen. Small crowd of about 30, but about half were first-timers as far as I could tell.

Huh. Good news, bad news.
