They are not paying Serenity in Indiana anymore. No body has it not even the dollar movie. I wanted to go see it again. I feel like someone stole the covers.........or atleast that is the best way I can put it into words. What about other cities???

It never did come to my little town (in spite of having put up the poster and getting my hopes up)

the closest were two towns thirty miles away, one of which dropped it last week...

So now it is playing in only two theaters within 100 miles of me:
Ottumwa (30 miles away) where I went last weekend
and
Cedar Rapids (80 miles away) where I'm going tomorrow...

I would have gone a lot more if it had just opened in my cr@ppy little town...

Still playing here, but reduced to two showings per weekend day.

Oughtn't that be "false logistics"?

Still playing in quite a few theaters around here...but since "around here" is Phoenix, AZ (a rather large market), I'm not sure that's terribly surprising.

At least it means I can go see it again this weekend, assuming I can find the time...

In Dallas, TX there are still a handful of theatres with at least two showings, and in Austin, where I live currently, there are at least three theatres with four showings this weekend.

Boston's basically done with the BDM, sadly. The suburbs have dropped it and the city itself has only late night showings (and the public transportation shuts down at midnight).

So where I live, I'd have to either travel about 45 minutes or pay about $20 in city parking to see the BDM again. It's especially frustrating, because a new co-worker mentioned today that he'd been meaning to see the movie but hadn't gotten around to it. I think I nudged him over the edge, but he doesn't really have a chance anymore.

I did my part; saw two pre-screenings and three regulars, and counting the friends I got into the theaters and the friends they brought back later, I probably got the movie about $100 - $150. But it looks like the end of the road here.

i'm in atlanta, georgia. i see that it's playing in 13 or so theaters within driving distance (well, if you say an hour is driving distance). the smaller ones obviously have only a few showings, but the multiplexes still have 'em throughout the day.

We originally had it playing at about 6 or so different theaters in the area (Charleston, SC), but it's now down to a pitiful one. I saw it on opening night only 5 minutes away from here, but now I'll have to travel about 35-40 miles, but it's worth it! Only 2 showings per day at that theater, however, so I think this is the last shot I'll get

It's still in the theater down the street from me, still four shows a day. The last time I went it was in one of the smaller theaters, but it was still nearly full.

Oh, this is in Denver, by the way.

Out of the best theater here in Rochester, MN only in the second class one... I'm beginning to sway to Cinemagic and away from Chateau!

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'm in Waco, Texas. The two theaters here both had it at four shows a day, but are now down to two shows each, one matinee and one evening.

But, I don't think this is an indication that Serenity is any more of a disappointment to the studios than several other recent releases. Nothing has been doing very much business the past few weeks, and at one of the Waco theaters there are five other films cut back to two showings each - Just Like Heaven, Corpse Bride, Into the Blue, Two for the Money and Waiting. Those last two opened just last week, and Into the Blue premiered the same week as Serenity.

In the Louisville area, there are 4 theaters still showing it, though their showtimes have been greatly reduced...2 or 3 showings per day...
