HOTFORKAYLEE

Well, I'm leaving everyone.
At first I had a lot of fun here but that time has passed. For one thing, people keep calling me names. On the chat area my name got changed to HotForKaythryn. Other people have been calling me HFK. Archer calls me number one sometimes and lately even went so far as UberGeek. Kaythryn calls me xin gan, darling, and even sweetie! Sarah, well Sarah keeps calling me Hottie, how could she?

There is also the matter of the way I've been treated. Maguinan kills all my jokes and then starts using big words I don't understand (can we get that in captian dummy talk?). Lerxst keeps saying he's gonna get his navy buddies to drop a tomahawk on my city. Last week Mr. Fluff bit my ear! And it hurt Melee!(well not that much) Poptart (Satyrgirl) Gave me the link to her site and I got drawn in and ended up reading all her stories and even doing beta on her Firefly fic. Succatash keeps putting up vids that I can't help but watch, and I even spent time wishing Maniac well with his recovery. Dutch and Wulfhawk talked me into reading Ender's Game so now that takes up my time too. What, I don't have a life (not so much so actually) and should spend my time worrying about others and listening to their opinions? And as for Xenarc, um, well I can't think of anything now, but I will! Nonoluna even invited me to a party in Atlantic City! Doesn't she know I'm a geek and never get invited to parties? Furthermore, Trs helped me download Trash and now there is another episode I'll have to watch over and over!(mean, ain't he?)

Haken, well he's the worst of them all. I mean shelling money out of his own pocket to put up and run this website. Giving people a place to host their fanfic and voice frustration over fox. Then to top it all off he puts up scripts that we might never have gotten to see!

So I'm leaving. I came here last year looking for a place to discuss Firefly and talk with people but that's all over now. So in three weeks, um, 3 months, er, well maybe in three years ya'all will never see me again! How could people be so mean? I don't want to make a big deal out of this and really didn't want people to find out, but I need a replacement (send resumes to rr_9805@yahoo.com). Don't try to stop me and don't ask me to change my mind. I don't want any attention or people to say they are sorry. I just want to take down everything I ever contributed and sit here and cry.

Really, don't try to stop me or ask me to stay, that's not what I want.

I don't want any attention.

Honestly, don't try to stop me.

I ain't trying to talk you out of it! Get gone already you m... oh. Nevermind. Forgot for a second us ladies aren't supposed to use those words in public.

You didn't enjoy writing that at all, did ya HFK?

GOOD GORRAM RIDDANCE!

Your manly presence was detracting from my ability to hit on the wimminfolks around these parts. The only thing Lerx did wrong was to not drop his bloody Tomahawk on you on day one. But he probably delivers all the junk mail late, too.

I mean, here I am thinkin' I got 'em goin', what with my effusive charm and my possession of every Star Wars novel ever printed. Then you, you rat bastard, you just come in and flatten me with your Ubergeek presence, then stand around and smirk as they flock to you.

I'm gonna stand by the door and smack you with it as you go.

So ladies... check this out. Yep, Alan Dean Foster, Splinter of the Mind's Eye. Why, yes, I do have L. Neil Smith's Lando Calrissian trilogy, both the original novels AND the compilation.

There ain't nothin' I can't overcome or come to know. So lay your heavy load down on me, strip everything I have away. I am not your prisoner, I am not afraid.

Right, now you just gotta compete with Maniac and Succatash and their suave manlyness. Can you even compare?

for Melee...

Select to view spoiler:

All the time Melee walked in a confused heat of yearning. She wanted to love deliciously, to take the sensuous offering, and give her sensuous response. For weeks she went in a muse of enjoyment.
She was nearly nineteen years old, a slim smouldering girl, deeply reticent, yet lapsed into unreserved expansiveness now and then, when she seemed to give her whole soul for outward presentation. She was sensitive in the extreme, always tortured.
One evening, as she was studying, her head buried in her hands, she heard new voices speaking. At once, her excitable spirit startted and strained to listen. There were two strange men's voices, one candid, veiled in mystery, the other in easy mobility, running quickly. She listened all the time to the sound of the voices, scarcely heeding the words. The first speaker was not Succatash. (cause he feels weird being included) She knew the candor covering the girding and savage misery of his soul. Who was the other speaker? Whose voice ran on so easy, yet with an inflamed pulse? It seemed to hasten and urge her forward, that other voice.

Oh Maniac, you can't have any idea of what you've just done. Handed me a story on a silver platter.... This is gonna be sweeeeet.

As for that Hot guy--I don't even know what to call him now since he's pissed at me for calling him Hottie and has like 37 other names-- you just hang around buddy, I'll do the leaving around here.

I mess up all the time, write stories that piss people off, don't write stories and that pisses people off, read other people's stories and really piss them off.

Plus, there are no men throwing themselves at me! I even started a thread about Hot Lovin' and all y'all thought it was a joke. Ha ha, very funny Sarah, let's all talk about how great we would look in frilly underwear. Alright then, ya hwun dans, I can take a hint.

You won't have Sarah to kick around any more!

Groan. I'm doomed. Maniac is all romantic and crap.

Miss Sarah, perhaps if you discussed your frilly underwear you'd gather a bit more interest. It's clearly a popular thing.

Hmm. Since we're driving people out, let's see...

Lerx is just bad. I mean, he's horrible. He runs around nut-pinging everyone. I bet he can't write for crap and can't even get past the first chapter of Quantum Cromatophysics for Dummies.

Plus he wears those geeky mailman shorts.

Edit- He also continually whines about the weather. What's up with that? Whatever happened to 'snow, rain, and the dark of night', hmm?

There ain't nothin' I can't overcome or come to know. So lay your heavy load down on me, strip everything I have away. I am not your prisoner, I am not afraid.

WTF?

This thread is weird! And I'm not comfortable with Maniac's story. Plus, mailman bashing? I never thought I'd see the day.

I don't participate in anti-postalistic web sites, where people just bash on each other.

Over at the Smallville site everyone is very nice. I want to trade my browncoat in for superhero suit. I'm leaving! I'm not coming back...EVER!!

And let me make one thing clear. THIS IS MANIAC'S FAULT.

For Melee - continued

Select to view spoiler:

"I remember you," the young man was saying. "I rememebr you from the first time I saw you, because of your dark eyes and fair face." Melee laughed, shy and pleased. She hung in the doorway, seized with a moments fierce confusion. She was good-looking. She had an attractive stance, as she hung a moment, not knowing how to carry her shoulders. Her dark hair was tied behind, her amber-brown eyes shone without direction.

A superficial readiness almost took her to the stranger. She wanted to turn to him. He was standing back a little, waiting. He was a young man with very clear eyes that waited until they were called upon, before they took expression.

By the way, I do realize that I am being excessively weird. I have been updated on that. So, if y'all want me to stop, I can. Just let me know how stupid you think I am.
