I'm teaching Lord Vader about the Firefly Transport Ship. It's a 20 questions game and so far he hasn;t been able to guess. Go on and teach him!

I usually start with "It's a mineral"...

Some of my favorite questions he asks:

"Is it shiny?"

"Is it found in mines?" (I had to answer "no" since that is not usually the case, although in Serenity it was.)

"Do you find it in the sky?"

"Does it spin?" (I answered "sometimes")

"Do you know any songs about it?"

heh.

Well, I baffled ole Lord Vader, I actually heard him say.... " You're giving me a headache." but he didn't guess and I of course filled it in.

I'll try again sometime and see if he's learned.

Thanks, it was fun.

I think Darth Vader's most prominent question would probably be:

"Is there a Force in the Verse that can stop her?"

Sorry; couldn't resist. :)

Heh, that was fun! He didn't guess, though. I think my answer to his question "Can you wear it?" threw him off. HA!

Wacky fun!

Have you seen the special feature where Adam Baldwin sings the "Hero of Canton" song? He's got Serenity on his shirt. I answered YES because you can.

Wacky fun!

America loves a winner!

After about 30 questions, one of the answers was ' a spaceship'? I guess that's as close as one can ask for, huh?

But this made me think of Vader that was , in the 1st 3 movies, and the whiney, spoiled brat that was Aniken Skywalker in the prequels. Sorry, I just don't buy it. Not by a longshot.

Well, he got it. I started with mineral and I tried to give as many 'yes' and 'no' questions as possible (i.e. no 'irrelevant' or 'maybe', unless 'yes' and 'no' really didn't fit). He got it in question 17, saying "I'm thinking it's a star ship?". Assuming Serenity can be classified as a star ship. Don't know much about spaceships, maybe there are differences.

Nothing to do with Firefly, but HI-larious: http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2006/vibrator-recall-p1.php

No, no, the idea is to get Vader to say "Firefly Transport Ship"! Think of the irony!

Well, Vadar totally missed the boat on "mercenary". Never did get it. Silly Vadar.

He actually suggested "pot-bellied pig". WTF???

He was really stumped when I tried it. He kept asking me if it was various types of stores and shops. Finally when he guessed that it was a "home" I said yes. Well, in a way. :)

He guessed starship in about 30 tries. He'll never get Firefly trasnport but otherwise he's pretty impressive, most impressive. I was thinking of him as the object and he actually guessed himself after fifty guesses.

I was thinking of Serenity and he finally got around to asking if it was a spaceship, so I let him have it...that WAS fun!

That's okay, he suggested "laughing gas" when I tried.

Wash: Yeah, but psychic? That sounds like science fiction.
Zoe: You live on a spaceship, dear.
