Ok, here is a discussion starter. We saw the few planets that Joss brought us to. Ariel, Persephone, etc. My question is this: What other planets did we not see due to the rat bastards cancelling our BDS? What would those planets have been like? speculation?

May have been the losing side, still not convinced it was the wrong side.

More of the same, only different. Technologically the inner core planets are rich with the high tech wizardry while the rim worlds have to make do with whatever they can afford and the border planets get a weird mix of the two extremes.

The great thing about the 'Verse is that you have room to run into all of social history in some form or another. The core planets are somewhat homogenized but once you get out to the rim you get lots of room for odd little societies with their own laws, religions, and mores. Fundamentalists, reformists, and nonconformists are found in both the likeliest and unlikeliest of places and things are not always what they seem on the surface.

One thing is for sure however, no matter how much variety in social structures there is in the verse there will not be a planet upon which people juggle geese. That would be just too far out.

You wanna go, Little Man?
Only if it's someplace with candle light.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

My guess is that most of them would look a lot like Southern California.
