We're BOTH PILOTS!!!

Wash: Yeah, but psychic? That sounds like science fiction.

Just wanted to throw in some encouragement for this thread!

I personally know one couple here in FL that recently married after meeting in the verse. Know another couple out in TX who've been living in sin for several years after meeting in the verse.

I met my SO on line. At first I thought I had got a Mal/Jayne type but turns out he's more of a Mal/Simon type (Simon's mind with Mal's fashion sense - but still has Jayne's enthusiasm for weaponry.) He liked Firefly/Serenity but doesn't do the fan thing.

Anyway, good luck to y'all.

SWM, 28 years old from Central Florida. Wash personality with a little Mal mixed in. We're all special in our own way, but I tend to be special in the head... lol. I'm looking for a River/Kaylee mix. A beautiful mind and fun personality. A hot woman wouldn't hurt either, but I like to be able to carry on a conversation when I have something to say. Must be a Firefly fan and a total geek. Glasses are sexy and big eyes are a must.

And here I was trying not to limit myself... lol.

Stay Shiny...

"So little Albatross, you gonna sit shotgun, help me fly?"

All the single men are down south and the single women are up north, what's up with that?

Penguinlord, I'm a little old for you, but if I was about 20 degrees latitude further south I'd take you out for a beer anyway! I got the big eyes and the geeky Riverness. I'm not totally hot, but I ain't bad neither!

Ha - who's afraid of a little cradle robbing? Especially since the only man my age who's posted is our oversexed friend bitterbierce? (No offence BB, but I gotta insist on 50/50, in bed and out!)

Hehe I'm a female in Sarasota, FL.

I'm a 23 yr old Zoe type, but I'm more Kaylee...I'd also be Riverisque if it wasn't for my Wash-like ways (I'd say Xander from Buffy but I think that would go off topic).

Surprisingly I do wear glasses (glasses are fuaing awesome) and have big eyes (judging from what others say about me).

I love the Joss as everyone might now, but I also love the Radiohead, the H.I.M., Kevin Smith, and little obscure cheesy or stuff too. That's just the tip of the ice berg folks b/c there's loads of stuff I like to the point it's sickening.

I'm currently majoring in Illustration.

I also think I'm a bit late seeing as how it's the 17th

Alright, I'll give it a go.

Single white female, 19, from the Toledo, Ohio area. Currently a college student, secretary, and aspiring teacher. Digs reading, hard rock, movies, firefly and various other fandoms, laughing whole lots, and fun in general. Vaguely Kaylee-ish in looks and behavior, but only vaguely. Useless with any thing that has wires, cords, batteries, or runs any way but with a big green button that says, 'GO.' Intelligent in other, more useless areas like history, lit, philosophy, semi-coherent conversation. Good with people up to and not exceeding the age of twelve. Open-minded vegatarian with other hippie tendencies. Writes way too much most of the time.

Looking for anyone in the area really, though I prefer geeky types with good senses of humor and far-flung interests. I don't care much about the physical aspect, but I must admit skinny long-haired boys turn my head faster than most others.

Not all at once, fellas.

This'll probably double-post -- a thousand pardons! -- but I gotta comment!

There are so few terribly clever ads, D, that I sometimes forget they even exist! Now I love football commercials. Those "It must be football season" ones? Bwahahah!

Like the poor guy in the movie line who drops his keys and bends over to pick them up? The lady behind him drops her purse, thrusts her hands between his legs from behind, and starts howling, "Hut-hut...HUUUUUUUT!"

*cracks up* The look on that poor guy's face is PRICELESS!

Ha! There's the BB we all know and love!

So, where's the laughing, head-shaking, "Can I start gettin sexed already?" line? And...why does it seem to be so much shorter?

And D? Yeah, the monster commercials usually are pretty amusing. However, I already feel like I work in an office full of chimps, so...not so much.

Their initial "I wanna be a yes-man!" commercial slayed me, though! Bwahah!

Well Bitter, Can I call you Bitter?

I must say you really don't know me. While I frequently decrie that the republican party is much better at stealing elections than the democrats of late (an area in which the dems used to have quite an edge) I don't make a habit of criticising other peoples personal lives. While I perhaps don't approach relationships in the same way you do as long as nobody is being coerced (and I see no evidence of coercion here) I got no problems. In the future you may wish to avoid ascribing motives to other people based on your personal biases.

And just so you know, I don't particularly like being called Davey. I'm cool with Dave or David or in more formal situations Mr. Shayne otherwise I would apreciate you not calling me anything at all.

"Personal lives"? Lord Jesus as a mutual fund, spare us from the ironically deficient. They were jokes, Davey...er, Jean Luc Goddard. Come on, just lighten up.

"While I perhaps don't approach relationships in the same way you do as long as nobody is being coerced (and I see no evidence of coercion here) I got no problems."

That is so nice of you that you "see no evidence of coercion" in a POSTING THREAD. Would I threaten with particularly menacing kilobytes? And what is it with this "I don't make a habit of criticising other peoples personal lives/got no problems" stuff? Now, if I was the non-genteel sort, I would call you friggin' hypocrite and demand you show me where I actually "criticized your personal life", which is apparently a whole new level of hidden meaning in my posts that only the great Jean Luc Goddard can actually discern. But I am a genteel sort, so I have to ask instead: puppies or kittens? Me, I prefer kittens. They're so cute. We had two when I was with my great love: Pooter and SS GrupenFuhrer Steiner.

You mistook my meaning. I was taking issue with you expecting me to criticize your behavior based on an unflatering assumption regarding my character; the contents of which you obviously have no actual knowledge.

Now since this conversation is off topic for this thread I suggest that if you wish to continue this conversation you begin a seperate thread for that purpose. Bear in mind however that unless you are willing to adopt a minimal ammount of curtesy I am unlikely to join that conversation.

Dunno, you could be right. I haven't seen that movie in a coon's age, so the details may well have left me.

Heh, I'm just happy that it was close enough for someone to peg!

Yep. It gave the scene more character...is it wrong to find him totally sexy during that fight?

Heh, if it is, then sign me up for the "wrong" line!

As high-larious as that entire episode is, there are several parts during which I just wanna drool. What can I say?

I love a man in battle-rage. *sigh*

Not joining in my conversations! It's a deal. Can I upgrade to the Platinum Membership where you agree not joining in or commenting on any of my conversations? Hell, ain't no need to even reply with a "yes", just...don't do nuthin'! Win-win.
