I'm looking for a high end replica of mal's gun one that has a removable clip. I've been searching on Google for about a half an hour and have found nothing to my liking. Is there anywhere I can get one or do I have to build it myself? Thanks.

Ain't that just shiny?

There is occasionally a prop kit that shows up on Ebay that has to be assembled. Search under Mal's gun or pistol

This would be the expensive option, but you could always send a screencap to a replica manufacturer and ask them to make one for you.

Doesn't have the removable clip.

The original prop was made from a modern short barrel revolver made to look like a civil war era gun by adding a hexagonal barrel, custom grip and some brass castings. There was a source for the castings but to make a gun like that would cost about $1000.

These resin castings were made from the hero prop so that they could make cheap desposable copies for stunt work. They paint up very nicely, certainly good enough for a good browncoat costume.

I elected to get a 1851 Colt Navy replica, not exactly the same gun but it resembles it well enough for costume work.
