I think I saw her on today's episode - she was just walking on by on Santos' plane, and was prominently featured on screen. She didn't say anything, though. I wonder if someone on the staff there is a Firefly fan?

Don't worry, Copilot; this is supposed to be its last year, from what I gather. And you're right, at least to an extent - it HAS gotten pretty boring, especially this season. I loved that show for the first 3-4 seasons, but it's gotten a bit stale since then. 'Course, I was a government major in college, so that might explain why I like it... :)

Didn't notice our Jewel in tonight's ep, but I wasn't watching it that closely.

It's a long shot... but is it possible to get a screencap off a VHS tape?

These are the final episodes of the Series...and they have definitely improved A LOT. I used to watch it in the begining, but then gave up. I came back this season and have been pleasantly surprised. Its well written, witty and very up-to-date. I really like it and can't wait to see the next episode

No, I definitly agree. I know this guy who's a friend of my Moms. He teaches medieval history at the U of Baltimore, and THE WEST WING is like his favorite show. I've seen like only two episodes of it and while I did like what I saw (especially John Spencer telling this staff member suffering from alcoholism this really great parable about a man in a hole), it never really did anything for me. Seems a bit too dry for my tastes.

I always thought 24 was a better series that dealt with the high stakes of politics and the incredibly complex world of the federal government.

As per Jewel, there havn't been any updates on her imdb.com page and she hasn't posted anything on her blog as of late. I'm guessing she's taking a break as are a lot of the cast members. I think only Nathan, Alan and Adam are working on stuff. Everyone else seems to be keeping a low profile.

I haven't watched the show in forever, but I still have a soft spot for it since "Two Cathederals" is one of the best episodes of anything I have ever seen. Ever. Jossworthy in it's brilliance.

I still think the very very first episode was the best one :) It was so great. But I have many other favorites as well. I feel like it would be a great show to play in high school classrooms (in case any teachers are reading this)

Cheers, Amylisai

I looked over the tape and I still think it's her. The quality of the picture is rather awful, though, so I can't be sure. If it was her and it was some kind of inside joke or homage then we'll probably never know. Oh well.

On a related note, I'm quite bored.

You'd kind of have to be to be checking up on that with your VHS player and then posting to the firefly board

Thanks for checking.

Maybe they credited her somewhere?
Well, Jewel's so pretty that sometimes i see her in low fidelity pictures. ;) Sorta fill in the face you know?

Let us know if you have any further Jewel sightings!!! I think she may be vacationing with her husband and figuring out what to do next right now, if i had my best guess.

I can't wait until she comes back into production again!

YES.

I find myself quoting or referencing that show all the time: big block of cheese, the hole story, the whatever from high atop the thing, and so on. But... the magic has ended. It ain't what it was. These death throes at least are more dignified than the shark-jumping so often seen on other shows, though. And I'm interested in seeing what theyr're going to do next week with... that one particular character whose actor is no longer with us.
