It's not just you, Jayne is so...unique. He refuses to fit into any particular niche, which makes him quite fascinating. He does have the best dialouge,& I laugh till I'm sick at some of his lines.

He's good, he's bad, he's Jayne, and everyone I know loves him, warts & all - just as the mudders do!

Perhaps we should erect a statue in his honor, 'course, he'd probably toss a grenade at it! :)

I also love the line in Serenity when Zoe asks Jayne "Do you really think any of us are going to survive this?" and Jayne replies with a slight tremble in his voice "Well, I might."

He surely did, & I'd love it if the "Powers that Be" would finish out the full season of FireFly, backtrack prior to the movie and bring back Wash & Book, I think they'd be amazed at how the money rolled in.

Ah, well, as Jayne would say - if wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.... :)

Yep I love that line too, and the way Jayne comes across as saying it,well its almost as if hes gotten his feelings hurt by Zoey.

I remember Adam baldwin going back all the way to the movie "My Bodyguard"

The Jayne character has certainly been fused with the perfect actor for the roll, that being Adam.

But that has been a target that has been hit in the bullseye many times in the Joss/verse.

Every Actor fits their character roll to a "T"
