I'm also watching Boondocks & BSG

I also love:
Doctor Who
House
Veronica Mars
Robot Chicken

and I have to tune in to
How I Met Your Mother so I can see Alyson Hannigan (Willow from BtVS)
and Conviction so I can see J August Richards (Gunn from Ats)
and Bones to see David Boreanez (Angel from Ats)
I don't love those shows, but I'm faithful to my Whedonesque Actors

Which reminds me:
tonight on House, [c]Amy Acker (Fred/Illyria from Ats) is supposed to be on![/c]
edited to add:
Oops! Correction:
Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn from BtVS) will be on House tonight!!

Well...I am still at university and in rez, so my TV habits are based around what other people watch or when I can nab the boob tube.

That being said, I do try to watch the following when it's on:

1. House - Hugh Laurie is my current God for sarcasm (only cuz Wash and Mal aren't practicing right now)

2. 24 - It's like crack....can't just watch just one episode.

3. Doctor Who - Even though it's gone American in it's story structure format (invidualized episodes with occasional multi-episode arcs), it still serves my sci-fi habit.

4. Stargate SG-1 - Cuz it's still cool after this long. Plus Ben and Claudia, while not directly intereacting as much, still helps with the Farscape pains.

5. NCIS - I like military stuff and I like mystery shows. Best of both worlds.

Shows I wanna get into more:

1. Bones
2. Alias (though it's over this spring)
3. The Unit
4. CSI Las Vegas
5. Numb3rs

I don't tend to watch a lot of tv shows. There's not much I like and if I do find something I like, I often just forget when they're on (Like Prison Break).

Mostly, I watch DVDs.

I recently finished the BBC production of Pride & Prejudice (for the fourth or fifth time). Next on my list is the first series of Red Dwarf.

Let's run through my current addictions:

24 (but I don't watch it fairly. I TiVo them all and then watch at the end of the season. Waiting the whole season is easier for me than waiting a week between episodes. The hardest part is hiding from people and advertisements and articles)

Lost
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report
The Office
My Name is Earl
House
South Park

Plus, one of my friends and I watch Firefly on a weekly basis so we can pretend it's still on the air.

Keep on flyin'

I'm pretty much a film man.

Don't pay for TV. Got an old guitar string hooked up to make myself a primitive UHF antenna.
I like 24, but I got hooked last year, and the death of Habib(?)(the smart uberterrorist) was so anticlimatic. I refuse to get hooked on 24 again.

Otherwise i mostly watch what's on FOX because that's what I get. (Maybe that's why im one of those people who actually saw Firefly when it aired).

Sometimes i watch the crazy preacher guy with his own channel who smokes cigars and drinks whisky while asking you for money.

House
NCIS
Lost

All are ensemble shows. I love House because of the main character's character. In real life, I'd probably really hate him.

NCIS--good banter among the team. Love Tony and Tim, and Ziva is growing on me.

Lost--Cool show. If they kill off Hurly, I'm done though.

Numb3rs is decent, but I don't catch it consistently.

Unfortunately, lots of Barney and Blue's Clues play in this house. It's like white noise to me anymore.

There's no place I can be since I found serenity.

I see HOUSE MD on alot of lists.

I thought this was a great breakout role for Hugh Lorey. Still I think his best work is with Stephen Fry on "Jeeves and Wooster", based on the Woodhouse classics.

Anyone like those shows?

Jeeves and Wooster was a classic, they still do the repeats on one of the gold channels which means inever get anything done with my weekdays off. Steven Fry is my god. (yup, on equal footing to Joss, there enough love in my heart) So much so that I announced that I wanted to marry him when I was a young pre-teen (I got the reply, 'Helen, he's gay' and apparently said something like 'so what, I don't want to sleep with the guy. Ah, the innocence of youth...

Have you seen V for Vendetta yet? That skit he does is funny, mainly cause I never thought Steven Fry and the Benny Hill music would ever work well together.

ok, officially waffling. T.V. shows.

Someone mentioned Teachers is that an english import about a bunch of teachers in a secondry (high) school, they mark out the days by having some kid spraypaint 'monday' over a window or write it on the side of a donkey which they lead around in the back ground for the rest of the series.

If it is, bloody good show, watch it, its great.

I'm currently mostly watching DVD's, playing the catch up game with Carnival S2, Lost S2, The Muppet Show and Farscape,

Waiting for them to repeat House and My Name is Earl, cause I missed them first time round.

Also watching repeats of Due South, SG1 (theres a buinch of seasons in the middle I didn't watch, so alot of the episodes are new.

Watching Bones, and looking forward to the new season of Dr Who. (Anyday now! Whoot!)

Sadly, whats on the telivision most is frickin CBeebies, and I can't white noise that stuff, even now the song from 'Doodledo' is going round in my head. (though out of the bunch, thats the best, laid back presenter, not one of these who's constantly yelling and grinning like a loon with they're eye-brows surgically implanted mid forehead)

You do know that Stephen Fry has a rather naughty reputation right?

He's been arrested on several occasions. I didn't know that he was gay. I know that he's been caught in a number of awkward trysts though. (You know the British tabloids).

Still, he's Stephen Fry, and noone seems to care one whit.

Glad to find another Woodhouse fan.
Remember the episode where Spode chases around Finknottle? I almost died laughing.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Let's see:

- Battlestar Galactica (which I now have to wait until October for new episodes!)

- The Shield

- Stargate SG1

- Stargate Atlantis

- Lost

That's about it. Not too much on tv anymore. Too much reality garbage.

I know what you mean. The CBeebies channel is always on whenever my niece stays. I've grown fond of 'Lazy Town' and Boogie Beebies now. The Doodle Do song is annoying. It's worse than the 'Fruity Oatey Bar' jingle.

.. Back to serious viewing.. Here's a list of what I'm watching at the moment:

* Battlestar Galactica (S2)
* Bones.(S1)
* Invasion.(S1)
* Supernatural.(S1)
* Spongebob Squarepants. Gotta love this cartoon.

* Doctor Who (When it returns for series 2 on April 15th.).
* Lost season two. (When it returns in the spring.)

* Stargate Atlantis. I really like this show, but never see it all the time.

I mostly watch my dvd boxsets. At the moment I've been watching the second season of Hex, which has been great. (I'd forgotten how good the early episodes were.) Buffy season two and the X-Files and Xena have been revisited too.

I don't watch a lot of tv either. There's too much reality tv. It's hard to find something really meaty to watch.

NEEDY

The road to Hel is paved with good intentions

Those that are currently airing:

24
Hustle
Battlestar Galactica
Alias

Lost Season 2 isn't yet airing over here, but I have got the episodes via a friend of a friend.
(Wouldn't normally do that but my sister cannot keep spoilers to herself so if she's watched them, I have to watch too before they're spoiled. Besides I'm gonna buy the dvds as soon as they are released)

The Simpsons is always on, so I don't worry about missing new episodes now - I just watch it when I feel like it

Not yet airing, but still watch:

Veronica Mars (I hope we get season 2 over here)
Doctor Who (starts next week)
Stargate SG-1 (just finished season 9)
Spooks (aka MI-5 in the states - season 5 should start soon)
Scrubs (new season starts at the end of the month)
That 70s Show ("Trouble" owns the rights to new episodes but their scheduling is horrible - they show a new episode a day for about a month, then you have to wait 11 months till the new season. I'm just gonna buy the dvds)

For all those Fry-o-philes out there, I really, really recommend his autobiography 'Moab is My Washpot'. He's such a doll.

I also wanted to marry him while younger. Or possibly just curl up at his feet & have him tell me stories.

As for House, I so, so badly want to find Hugh Laurie sexually attractive. But all those Blackadder skits just coming back to haunt me...

I am also one who does not have cable by choice...there's too much else to do! Besides, as long as I have a DVD player, I can watch Firefly and Serenity any time I want!
My wife's mother, however, does record things for us:

Smallville--entertaining

Supernatural--I have a brother, so it hits on a few more levels

Bones--It's weird to see Angel walking in the sunlight....

We also rent movies by the bucketload, but nothing recent is sticking out in my mind right now.

Finally someone else who is getting disappointed with 24. I personally think they should have ended it at season 4. Season 3 was the best of any and after that it started going downhill. 4 was a good place to stop and now FOX is just doing a cash grab. Because it is such a plot driven show they cannot last long and still come up with new plots (they already have had two nukes and two bio/chem weapons). And the plot twists are either predictable, useless, or go to the absolute extremes that they don't make sense just to keep viewers interested. I love 24 but it has burnt itself out. Thats just my little rant.

Anyway, I also watch
Prison Break (my new 24)
Rewatching Band Of Brothers
Family Guy

I don't actually have cable or satellite so I don't have many channels. I rely mainly on DVDs.
I want to get the Over There Season 1 because I never got a chance to watch it.

Unfortunately, most of the shows now are in reruns, so I'm playin lots of EQ2 or re-watching FF/S. I have to ration my FF/S intake however. While I love the show immensely, if I watch too much, I start to fall asleep during episodes, and we all know that's a NO-NO!

Not to mention my wife starts to look at me with "that" look when I overplay my favorites over hers. But on top of it all, I'm so afraid I'm gonna ruin either my DVD player or the discs (my precious) from too much play...heh heh

CYBERSNARK

Shows currently on:

(Starting Sunday morning and going to Saturday night)
* W.I.T.C.H. (A cartoon show that I recently got hooked on; it's like Sailor Moon crossed with Buffy. Irma has some of the best snarky one-liners since Firefly.)
* Stargate Atlantis
* Prison Break
* Medium (assuming it's still on. It's been pre-empted the past two weeks, and we know what that means. . .)
* NCIS
* Gilmore Girls
* Supernatural
* Transformers Cybertron
* Naruto
* InuYasha
* Gundam Seed (in reruns, but I still watch 'cause I'm a mecha nut)
* Fullmetal Alchemist
* Case Closed (starting this week, so I haven't actually seen an episode yet)
* Teen Titans
* Xiaolin Showdown
* Justice League Unlimited
* Avatar
* Shaman King
* Battlestar Galactica

Shows I would watch if a certain Canadian network wasn't ruttin' stupid:

* TMNT
* Spider Riders

Shows I eagerly anticipate:

* Dr. Who S2
* Stargate SG-1 S10
* Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig (no word yet on if YTV will get it, but I live in hope. They say it's too violent, but they've said that before and then reversed it [like the SAC episode "Jungle Cruise"].)
* Gundam Seed Destiny (the dub is being done as we speak. Can't imagine YTV not airing it.)

Wow, a lot of House fans on this board.
I am watching...
House - cause it is just so darn sarcastic
Lost - cause seriously, what the F is going on?
The Daily Show - cause I enjoy good satire
The Colbert Report - cause I am one of the heroes
Robot Chicken - cause I grew up in the 80's
Boondocks - cause it is genius

RUXTON

-Veronica Mars

-CSI Miami. David Caruso plays Caine brilliantly, almost like a cartoon character; and the oversaturated-color photography is the finest on TV.

-NCIS

-Watched "The Unit" until last night...bunch of brainless dolts breaking laws internationally, and with no clue how to manage firearms properly.

-Gilmore Girls

-Supernatural

-Smallville, but unless Clark nails Lana again it's pure garbage, with lousy writing, and therefore GONE.

-Ghost Whisperer

-Numb3rs on occasion.
------------------------------
Also "She Spies," season one, and Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, both on DVD.

24= crack
House- is hilarious

I'm a big fan of 24 but season 1 was the only year were I never missed an episode

every other year I got really busy with school and missed the end of the season (which is usually the best part) and had to get the DVDs when they came out.

But this year I've been recording every episode and watching them right away because there is no way to avoid the spoilers in the news, ect

and does anyone here watch Nip/tuck? I've been almost as hooked on that show as I am on 24

KAYNA

I love my captain

I like TV but I don't really watch it much right now. So Lets see...I think I'll give you three lists.

List one. Shows I catch fairly regularly.
CSI The original only. The others are ok but I gotta tell you, I watch it for Grissom.
House He's just so awesome. Rude, sarcastic, caustic, brilliant, hilarious.
Numbers This show has a great cast and you really believe those three as family.
I think that's about all for this list.

List two. Stuff I like but only catch when I notice someone else watching it.
Family Guy
Stargate Atlantis
LaO: CI If it's a Gorren and Eams episode.
South Park
Drawn Together Sometimes it's hilarious, sometimes it's just annoying and stupid
Boston Legal I only ever watch this for Shatner and Spader. Great combination there.
NCIS Does anyone else just think Abby is totally gorram awesome?

List three. Tv on DVD.
Firefly Alot. I mean obsessivly.
Pretender A good show canceled by someone other than FOX. Still, the TNT movies are a bit bizarre so maybe it was time to end it. I'm not sure.
Dark Angel this one you can blame on FOX, both cancelation and screwy second season.
Invader Zim This show never belonged on Nick. Never.
