hey everyone. I am very new to Firefly/serinity... I just finished watching the entier season, and movie and... this is prolly the oldest question that there is... but does anybody know if anything will be starting up anytime... or if there is going to be another movie... i was just wondering... I am now obcessed with the show... I watched the behind the sceens, and cried when they were talking about how they felt when the walked away from the set... anything, even rumors... heck, start rumors... maybe they will come true!

I think every one of us knows exactly how you feel...

Nothing official has been said about a return to Firefly or Serenity, although Joss and our crew have repeatedly said that they would love to do more in the 'verse (maybe even as much as we would love to see it!

)

From what I understand, the most likely thing to happen is a movie sequel. But all that is contingent on Universal thinking it would be worth it financially.

Which means that we as Browncoats need to tell everyone we can about our favorite little show/movie. Spread the word, build the fanbase, buy the DVDs.

It'll happen!

ah yes, a tale of woe....

thanks for joining us in this fight to get more FF/S on the air.

all's i can say is there is power in numbers...imagine being a movie/tv exec. and walking into work to find 22 mail sacks full of requests for Firefly/Serenity....(everyday) ... that would be so shiny....we just need to keep pressure on the 'powers that be' to make sure that we have a little bit of their attention. The can't write us off as kooks forever....someday all of this asking, pleading, begging, demanding...is bound to pay off.

In the past month, I've visited this site more than I have check my e-mail. I've also been babbleing like a gorram lunatic to everyone who would listen about Firefly, Serenity, and the 'verse.

I also hope for Firefly to reappear on TV or movie format. I just love to come back here everyday to read the threads. it makes me feel that much closer to all of the browncoats out there.

BTW, is it possible to get a browncoat, followMal? It's gorram chilly out in the Black, dong ma.

I know the feeling. I spend almost my entire lunch hour on here. I also spend a lot of time on it at home after the little one has hit the hay, usually when my wife is watching something not as good as Firefly, which is pretty much everything else. She's got great taste in men, but TV shows...eh...you can't win'em all.

I still stand by my belief that Universal will green light a sequel as soon as 'Goners' (which they have already contracted Joss to make for them) is done...

in the mean time, embrace that comics: there will be a sequel of those much sooner....

Well, 10 out of 10 Browncoats can't be wrong :) I figure, look how much money all these companies spend on marketing research. And we're frelling doing it for them! How can someone not take notice, right?

Anyways, welcome to our little Haven ;p Looks like you've met most of the welcome wagon, and that sure is a mighty fine Browncoat you're sporting now. So as you can see, the 'coats are just about the shiniest bunch of fans this side of Whitefall. Always good to see that someone else "gets it."

(Aside to the others: man, it's good to know I'm not the only one checking this site WAY too much :) I'm always saying, oh I'll just hit refresh one more time. You never know, I could be missing out on news of the new series/ movie sequel/ comic book/ musical/ or Firefly on Ice :)

I am new to the forum but a fan since it aired. May I also have a browncoat? Please, I would run guns for the browncoats and despite being an Alliance patriot I would be disillusioned by the war and pledge to try and help keep the rim independent. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the Brown Coat followmal... any chance i can get a hold of a replica of mal's gun... maybe i can go and hold FOX hostage until they agree to make both another movie, and finish the series... maybe on the aniversery of the first show, we can all gather around the FOX corperate building and protest until they agree... I have written 6, three page letters expaining why my life is better because of FF/S and why they just released the show too early... it would totally fly today... don't you all agree...
