My wife and I just discovered FireFly and watched the whole complete series in about 3 days. We love it. Going out to buy the movie now. We are very disappointed to hear that it went off the air. Any chance of SciFi Channel picking this series up?

Welcome to the site KM27! Glad to have you here amongst the faithful.

Right now tv is not looking too good. Not saying it is completely off the radar, but we are focusing our efforts on a movie sequel right now since that is the direction that Joss & Universal have said they wish to go. Who knows, if we sell enough "Serenity" DVDs & get our sequels, we may be a big enough fanbase that the powers that be will look at a resurrection of the tv series.

So, for now, spread the word to every single person you know. Show them the movie DVD. Get them hooked. Show them the series DVD. Get them interested & have them spread the word. Our future lies in growing the fanbase & pushing the movie DVD.

Keep flyin'!

Hiya KM27,welcome to the forum,

After watching jaynestown I got the idea of flying over Fox studios and dropping a strongbox full of cash (unopened) on their heads and as the song says "let that money hit sky". Course tossing out a couple of minor tv exects might be fun too.

This would all be to show them the interest I've seen developing in a new tv series or even a movie. Don't know if they are really interested in making COIN. Sometime seems like thoses folk live on a lonely moon by some rim planet in their own little world.

Ennyhoo, part of the welcome is a chance to stuff your face in the galley. Sit-down meals aren't really a possibility any more, since we are packed wall to wall with 'coats, but there's a big buffet you can question to your heart's delight. Strawberries, ice-planets, hot cheese, cookies...Kaylee's doing one of her chocolate-y cakes and there's Wife Soup in the big kettle. Scrambled eggs, sausage (your choice of beef or mixed), and if you wait a bit I'll finish up browning these potatoes.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

Haven't got the movie yet. I borrowed the series from my Neighbor, but I'm going out to buy it and the movie for the weekend.

Hopefully someone will pick it up. I do like BSG too, so perhaps I'll send SCIFI a little postcard.
