I just went on ebay to search Firefly/Serenity and they had action figures of Jayne and Mal...they are awful! They look nothing like either character and Mal quite frankly looks like a distorted Jedi...what happened?? Were there monkeys???

yeah, I love my Buffy & Spike dolls...
but Mal & Jayne were pretty substandard IMO.

So I made my own Jayne: I found a 12" GI w/a goatee
and dressed him up as Jayne (w/the hat...)

I agree about the action figures, however, there is one good one out there. It was done for a convention(i think), and is an unpainted Jayne figure. It looks almost like the statue from Canton. I had to get one. Look for it if you get a chance.
