Whatever happened to Ace Underhill???

Hey, firstly i guess i should introduce myself. I'm Jhae, long time lurker, first time poster, long time browncoat ;). I'm 20, from England. As of late i couldn't help but wonder what happened to Ace Underhill and that whole thing? Did he turn out to be a foney or is there something still in progress? Just wondered, everytime i come back to the site i think to myself as the page is loading "Maybe this will be the day. The day i read that announcement that Firefly is coming back." and everytime i end up disapointed and go to the virtual firefly site instead lol. So yeh, basically thats it for my "Hi!

" and "?" first post.

Ooh! Actually i do have one more question. Where can i get a khaki blue sun t-shirt like jaynes? Anywhere to get one in th uk?

Hi Jhae! Welcome! We can always use more English browncoats!

I know Ace was involved in rescuing the ambulance from Ariel a few months ago, but as for the actual season 2 project he was working on nothing's been heard. He does have a profile on here, so if you felt like trying to contact him and find out what happened, I'm sure a lot of us would be mighty interested!

He couldn't secure the rights to the show from Fox.

Also, Joss is away doing movies, Tim Minear (producer/show runner) has signed back up to Fox, and the other writers have signed up to NBC and ABC. The actors are also out of contract.

To be honest, it was never going to happen.

Ah, Ace Underhill. I suspect he'll end up the Karen McCoy of the Firefly universe, though he does sound much saner and more professional.

I still think the real man we have to look to is Joss - another on-screen event can only happen if he is the driving force behind it and has re-acquired some Hollywood kudos.
