I have found the Serenity trailer that I saw in the theaters, must have been about a year ago now

I've been watching trailers on youtube (a slow process on dial-up) and haven't seen the one that made me sit up straighter and go "I must see that movie!" Most were fan made, and the other "official" one I saw was frankly... not that good. Not intriguing and I don't think a very good introduction to the characters, so I'm glad I saw this one instead.

Ah, memories...
Hard to believe it all started for me, probably close to exactly a year ago, with just these two and a half minutes. I've watched it over and over this morning because it's just so exciting; it makes me giddy!

Thank you PR for finding it and thank you Penguin for allowing us the way to download it.

It was a year ago soon that I fell in love with this 'verse too. I remember how excited I was when I saw the movie trailers. This one was the best of the "official" ones IMHO.

Ahhh, memories. My heart was beating so hard while I was waiting for the movie to start and when I saw Serenity and then she hit atmo and that music came up.. oh wow.. tears in my eyes.

And now it's won a Hugo... a well deserved one.
I knew it was the best thing I'd ever seen sitting there that day.

what a trailer, what a BD Movie...

Got to say I found the BDM through the trailer and thinking 'it's great that this isn't another spin-off movie from a comic/book/ or tv series...' little did and I know, and how glad that I was wrong!

That rings a bell in my head. I remember thinking something along similar lines. Funny because it's right there in the trailer that it was loved by millions.

My experience, too began with the BDM. Once I shed a little tear (not trying to give too much away) I was hooked. That movie really pulls you in, you know? Which is what I reckon that Joss was up to.
