This has nothing to do with anything, but I'm just sitting around watching Foster's Home for Imaginary friends, and was wondering how many Browncoats were friends of the show. I don't find much I like on other channels, so it's mostly Nick (Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents) and Cartoon Network (Foster's, Billy and Mandy) for me. They are all shows that kinda appeal to a younger and older fans. Which I can totally appreciate. Other than Foster's, what other kids shows do you guys watch on a regular basis?

Invader Zim is where it's at! It was cancelled because the target audience thought it was terrifying and it zctuially appealled moe to the older generations. I still love it mainly because of Gir."MAKE ME A SAMMICH!"

Well, it's not a kids show and it was also cancelled before the end of the first season- the Oblongs.

I love the Last Airbender, Foster's, Camp Lazlo, Jimmy Neutron and my secret shame, the Rugrats. I love Chucky!

I think I'm regressing as I spend more time on the cartoon channels than any other type.

Way too many. See, being a writer myself, I can count it as research.

Oban Star Racers
W.I.T.C.H. (it's like someone took Buffy, Sailor Moon, and LoTR, and threw them all in a big narrative blender )
TMNT ("watching" in only the loosest possible terms as I wait for seasonal DVD sets to appear --ruttin' Teletoon is doing a Fox and airing episodes out of order or not at all )
Loonatics Unleashed
Ben 10
Di-Gata Defenders
Avatar: The Last Air-Bender (best fight sequences anywhere)

Also, though not exactly kid shows, I'll include them for any animation snobs ("pooh, pooh, animation is for children").
InuYasha
Naruto
Eureka 7
Bleach
Fullmetal Alchemist

I also used to watch Xiaolin Showdown, Cardcaptors, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex, Gundam Seed, Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, and whatever Transformers series is current (Cybertron just finished, now we have at least a year before the next series starts coming out --side from the comics and fanfic, we're in a vacuum until the movie hits ).

(I'm still waiting for YTV to announce that they'll be airing GitS: SAC: 2nd Gig and Gundam Seed Destiny.

I'm also pretty familiar with most cartoons on the air today, even if I don't actually spare time to watch 'em.

It's a little gassy and the flavours a little 'flat' for my taste.

Of course, all beer, even the bad beer, is better in England. Don't believe the lies perpetrated by the cabalistic allied Johny foreigners, our beer is not flat and warm, they're merely jealous of our mastery and wish to hide their own incompetance. English beer is amongst the greatest in the world, so great that even weak Australian Kangaroo piss like Fosters must be improved for the British market in order to compete.

Rule Brittannia, Brittannia rules the Beer! Britions never never never never shall be Sober!

OMG, you're kidding me! You like Bleach? That show is the best! You have to watch it on YouTube, because [as] is never going to buy all the eps and they're up to almost 100 in Japan. But, they all all the eps on there, so you can watch them in Japanese with English subtitles. If you don't like subtitles, then you'll have to learn Japanese, unfortunately. But, still, totally worth it. Good stuff.

Bleach is one of the shows YTV added to its lineup this fall; we're only a few episodes in so far.

It's one of those serendipitous shows that could almost fit into my own fiction-world (as is InuYasha). In fact I have a character in the script I'm working on now who is basically Rukia. Different backstory, different powers, but same personality, and same tendency to use visual aids in her plot exposition.

Canada's YTV ("Youth Television," not to be confused with Japan's YTV --"Yomiuri Television") is the best TV network in Canada, by virtue of having both budget and people in charge who know/care about what they're doing (other Canadian networks are either perpetually broke [Space], or run by men-in-suits who don't actually watch their own network [Teletoon]). They've somehow managed to sidestep the CRTC's Canadian-Content Nazis so far, and are even petitioning for a Canadian all-anime channel (has to be a specialty channel to get around the Canadian-Content restrictions). Hopefully that's where they'll be able to put 2nd Gig (which is apparently too violent for even YTV to get away with) and GSD (which they apparently have the rights for, but refuse to comment on when they'll air it).
