Hello all,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Emily and I'm a doctor from Chicago. I am a great fan of all things Joss Whedon. I am psyched to find this community online and I am looking forward to checking everything out.

I was at the Friday night screening of Serenity at the Music Box Theater in Chicago. I was hoping there would be a bigger crowd but I had a great time nonetheless.

As for Firefly, my favorite character is Kaylee, probably because she's the one I relate to the most. I was very happy when she finally scored with the doctor in Serenity...

Serenity screened at that theater 11/3 and 11/4 also and they must have decided to have an encore this weekend too.

There may have been a bigger crowd last weekend especially since they held it over for another weekend 11/10 and 11/11 midnight screenings.

I went to my first 2nd advanced screenings of Serenity in Chicago, and I can tell you that they have a great bunch of Browncoats there!

Pleased to meetcha , Emily! We've got some things in common !

1) I'm guessing you're a U2 fan ? Wow , I must be psychic ! Or , was it psychotic ? One of those , maybe ! As I recall , I think AgentRusco and MSG are particular u2 fans as well . Always pleased to get acquainted with others who rock with the greatest band of all time ! Sometime , you gotta get me to tell ya 'bout when 'Bono' made a sandwich for me !

2) Doctor from Chicago ? That is so cool ! I've really enjoyed my times in Chicago . One of my best flyin' buddies is an MD , another is a PA who married an MD . I like hangin' out with the medics ! We've had some great an' memorable times together !

3) Kaylee's my favorite , also ! Not quite as happy 'bout when she scored with Simon , though it did make me think I'd like to BE him !

You're gonna have an INCREDIBLE time here ! It's all manner of pleasin' to have you come aboard . You're on my crew ! Let's talk about it some more , sometime !
