Too Close to be Coincidental... (oh, and I'm new)

Hey guys, I'm kind of new here. I've been a part of the fanbase for a while, even signed up here, just have remained quiet (for no real particual reason. I speak when I have somthing to say. *shrug*)

ANYWAYS...
I came across somthing that is of intrest, and as my title suggests, too close.
I have recently come across a relatively new band named Fireflight, and thir current single (and the first song on the album) is... You guessed it! Serenity. Not that this is terribly significat news, but... Could it be we have some unproclaimed Browncoats on our hands? Could this be a tribure to our BDM?

I looked up the group you are talking about, and I don't think there's a connection. They are a Christian rock group, and from this link, you'll see that they describe the song Serenity to be about a man talking to God.

This was the only website that listed the backstory to this song.

But...wouldn't it be nice if they are Browncoats?

None of which really rules out Browncoatedness, though. They could just be fans of the Shepherd (no, our Shepherd).

They could even be Transfans (Fireflight is the name of an Aerialbot from G1).
