Zeek- I'd leave it be. He'll either reach teh conclusion on his own, or maybe he's just one of those people who prefers a mate less intelligent/intellectual than he is. Happens sometimes. Maybe he just likes her for other qualitites. I've seen some of the weirdest matches work out well and some of the pair ups I thought were perfect for each other fail miserably...who knows how that works.

Like lots of folks, I've been in a terrible funk for, oh, probably going on a year, now. This time of year just makes it worse. Stupid winter.

However, I have a new project to work on At Work, which gets me back into the R&D Lab with the good people and possibly back into animal studies. Yay! At least it's something, ya know?

But I am in a rut - no, not in the carnal way, in the way where ever day is identical to the point where months pass and I don't notice - and I think I need to liquidate all my possessions and run away. Who's with me??? Woohoo!!

Tristen-Holidays have been cold and dark mostly the past couple days but other than that they haven't been to bad. When I'm not at work or trying to get my shopping in I'm trying to get things cleaned up. My backyard looks like a herd of tanks rolled through. We lack the psychic bonds to know that you are asking us to go because you want to be with us and are capable of assigning a variety of random reasons to said invitation ( like he's just being nice, he feels sorry for me, etc.)

Yeah what's with women and lacking that psychic bond. One of my college friends got all mad that I didn't reply to an email. Duh I was waiting for her to reply to my other friend's replytoall reply. My male friend understood right away. sheesh

MSG...does there have to be a reason stated when asking someone out? Mine are usually along the lines of "I am captivated by you, under the spell of your beauty...the sparkle in your eyes and the way your lips gently curve when you smile upon the world strike deep into my heart. I desire to be near you, to hear you speak, see you laugh, breathe the same air as you...I throw myself at your feet as a slave to desire and longing". I can tell you from experience that actually saying this outloud has caused me no great deal of lost dates.
