Now, this looks like a protest against the last post thread, but for it to be a protest the creator of this thread must be against the other thread. However, since the creator of the thread participates in the other thread, then he cannot be against it and this cannot be a protest.

But if it is not a protest, what is the purpose of this thread?

Does the thread, the thing have purpose? Good question. It only can have when nobody replies. But now for the real mind-bender: is it still a thread when it's empty?
