RHYIANAN

My mother had a fish that would jump out of the tank too. It was the fish's way of begging for food (although she always fed it twice a day). Alas, one time when someone was pet-sitting, the fish leapt out of the tank and didn't get put back in time.

This was about the same time that they also had a blind fish (for some reason its eyes fell off). The fish would memorize the tank and not have any problems, but for fun, my mother would move the castle a centimeter or two and the fish would act like a pinball for a while until it had the tank memorized again. (hmmm, that one might count as torturing animals)

NICODEMUS

It's been a while since we had any cat pics on here, so I thought I'd do my part by posting a few.

TRISTAN

Hi, all!
Just stopping by to say hello and goodnight.

RIMG, in response to the Fight Club, I actually had one for awhile. Granted it was with padded PVC weapons, but it was non-choreographed fighting.
Just thought I'd share that.

Oh, and "I'm working on a speedboat".

Oh, Hell's Kitten, got one better than the speedy mouse. Ever heard of the Southern Flying Squirrel? Neither had I until one showed up in the home of my parental units, and I was chosen to remove it (it survived, just a funny story). Those suckers can move like no one's business....and they can bite right through leather gloves.

Qing ren, if you show up...

To all of my other fellow ponderers, I bid you goodnight...or morning, or afternoon...heck, we really do all need to move to one place. At least the time thing wouldn't get all confusing!

I shall talk to you all tomorrow!

Too funny. You do have a cruel mother. Hopefully she didn't try similar experiments on you when you were growing up.

Morning, Tristan, it's probably about time for you to get up and start a new thread. Have a great day.

RIVERISMYGODDESS

mornin' Imponderables.

Rhyianan - the blind fish story was funny as hell :)

Tristan - we used to do that too, we had all manner of beat downs. I think I really just want to know what it is like to be in an honest-to-goodness bare knuckles brawl. Might just be what's going on in life right now though.

LA - I think I read it long ago (my freshman english class was based on Arthurian legend) but I will definitely make time to read it again.

MAGDALENA

"No power in the 'verse can stop me!"

Hello all - this is brief and probably I will miss heaps of you - but good morning and goodnight from me...

Hugs to you VE, LA, RIMG & RMMC.... Hmmmm We do go in for some interesting abreviations and avatars, don't we?

Qing ren - you should be here any moment so ... 4 more sleeps to go til I am no longer under my mother's roof...

Hey HK... cruch, crunch, crunch is exactly right, except that I used to go walking with my best friend and she didn't like the sound of me stepping on then... so we agreeed that I would cough loudly whenever I stood on one... LOL at how that went - but it kept on going for years.... We'd be walking and talking, "*cough* so anyway, when we go to *cough* Jill's place this *cough* weekend..."

Love you all - good night! - Magda x x x

RIVERISMYGODDESS

mornin'/night Magda.

Ami used to hate the sound of them crunching too, so I had to wait until she was not around or make some noise to cover for it.
