Ok, what has happenned to Heroes? Don't tell me NBC has taken a leaf out of F*X's book and cancelled it mid season...

Ok, I'm a brit, who doesn't get to see it on TV, so I've been Downloading it a few episodes at a time, but cannot find anything past ep 11, anywhere. Was it cancelled, or just not out yet?

Dont worry that show is doing awesome with the ratings. Just like all the other shows, theyll be new episodes starting on january 22nd.

Yep, it's taking it's own Xmas break like all of us before gettin abck to work on January.

I have to admit though. 24 will be on at the same time, and I don't know which one to watch first, I have the extra channels on my cable package that alows me to watch shows 3 hours later, but which one should I watch first? I'm kind of leaning towards 24, since that is the the tv equivalent of cocaine.

And I'm also wondering, who here enjoys HEROES more than LOST. I know some people have complained that HEROS is just a LOST knock-off. But I have to admit, I actually enjoy HEROES more than LOST. Now I'm not ragging on LOST. When it actually is on, it's pretty good. But along with BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, it's a show that while I understand the critical accolades heaped on it and the fanatical devotion to it, I can never really bring myself to loving it 100%. I like it maybe at 80%. And part of that is because of a lack of sense of humor attached to it. Now I realize that given the premises of each show and their objective to unravel the mysteries of the universe through discourse, that jokes might be hard to come up with. They had brief flashes of humor sparingly at the beginning, but then they returned to dire with a side of grim.

But HEROES, on the other hand, actually finds the time to bring in humor. The reason why Hiro is the most beloved character is because he actually does bring in humor. They don't saddle him with lotto numbers that make him go "Dude, I'm cursed." Despite the many turns in his journey, he still has optimism and good humor around him and his quest. He's the only one who when he realizes his powers goes "This is so cool!" And while LOST dangles the carrot in front of you all the time and then pulls away just as you get there, HEROES actually lets you nibble on it just enough for you to want more.

If SciFi channel keeps on as it's been doing, HEROES will reply on Fri nite @ 7pm and on Monday nites,again @ 7pm. Those of us w/ out fancy extra t.v. channels or any DVR type devices.
