Tell or show what you got for Christmas!

I got:
Several shirts from http://www.jinx.com/default.htm as well as a pin and some iron on patches.
A very shiny effects pedal and some new cables to go along with it.
A new strap since mine went... somewhere.
A new XBOX controller and a new PS2 controller.
Two Billy Sheehan bass instructional books and a DVD.
MK Armaggedon (XBOX), MK Shaolin Monks (PS2), Lego Star Wars 2 The Original Trilogy (XBOX).
Firefly the Official Companion Volume 1, Serenity the Official Visual Companion and Finding Serenity.
A gift card to Steve's for $250.00 (I'm only $200.00 away from getting Vera!).
In my stocking there was lots of chocolate and a Starbucks Card worth $20.00.

I think I did pretty well this year. My grandparents are coming over later so I'll update this then.

Chriskwanzukkah is upon us!!!

CYBERSNARK

3" Titanium Starscream
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Shampoo
Soap
Socks (which I actually did need, for once )
Underwear
Bag of chocolates for my mom to steal back
Digital camera
Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex Official Logbook
2 T-shirts
Button-down shirt (it's not a coat, but it is brown and looks leather-like)
Pyjamas
Many books and manga that I bought/picked out myself.

(My mom goes into this "must have gifts under the tree" mode a few weeks before Christmas and starts gift-bagging anything that comes into the house, regardless of whether or not someone bought it for themselves.)

Christmas dinner is happening this afternoon, so there'll likely be gift cards, lotto tickets, and cash then.

Welcome home, 2serene. You are #24310 to
come up the ramp and sign on. We're right
cheered to see you. As for the Where of
us, we're from all over. You're not alone
there in Australia.

Have a strawberry and a mug of Mudder's.
Stow your gear. Chow's on the buffet in the
galley up there, and it looks like there are
plenty of leftovers from all the celebrating.

Lots of 'coats sleeping off all the calories,
too. I think there's a Firefly marathon going
in the lounge area.

Let's just tiptoe on up...

I only got 1 present. Its for Christmas & my birthday (not as much funn to open), but I really needed it. A new laptop. My old one was a cheep underpowered piece of crap when I bought it 5 years ago & has been slowly dieing one pice at a time for the last year. This is a lot nicer than what I've been trying to save for & much faster.

I did mention the part where the engine overheats and we all die, right? Don't think I woulda left somethin' like that out.

Heh, I read the topic and took the meaning to be "the current thread" - as in present/now and thought how interesting, what's that about?

Um, one "dur" to me.

My favorite gift - a great critique of a spec script!

And a great leather belt from mom :)

My signature...Rhae.

My families official Christmas isn't until next week, but my sister and I exchanged gifts this weekend. Her and my brother in law got me TiVo and a 1 yr. subscription as a Christmas/thanks for house and dog sitting for us when we were away gift.

I work second shift and i have to either tape record or watch my shows online and I have wanted to get TiVo for awhile, but never did because my VCR was good enough.

I am so excited!!! This has to be one of the best gifts I have ever gotten, even better than the BMX bike I got when I was 10. 'Course knowing my sister she will probably hold this gift over my head for the next three years, but it is worth it.

Tivo is great
You’ll never be able to go back to plane old TV. I sometimes work odd hours & I have to stop watching TV & start doing my medical stuff a couple of hours before bed time so I was using a VCR until it died last year. TiVo is great if your show changes times or if there’s a marathon you didn’t know about it still gets recorded. After a year of skipping commercials now when something I want to se is on I end up watching something that is already recorded & coming back to it after tivo has at least part of it saved so I can fast forward. If you download the tivo desktop you can even transfer stuff to your PC.

I thoroughly agree, Hellboy is one of the best superhero movies of all time. They can either be really bad (ex. Daredevil) or really good (ex. Fantastic Four). I'm still waiting for them to turn other IMAGE comics into movies, or maybe Cerebus (though the animation might make it really cheesy, you never know unless you try). Also who's seen the trailers for Spiderman 3 or the new Fantastic Four?
