if the show got picked up by a network that isnt... well you know.. how would you like joss to do it? would you like him to do pre original show or post BDM?

me, id like to see him do maybe a couple eps about the war(2 or 3). then have the rest of the season pre-original show, maybe have it show how they got all the crew but instead of one ep, they do work in between. then for the 2nd season they show the 14 episodes again, then have 6 ot 7 eps before BDM. then the season finale could be the movie. and every season after that have it without Wash and Book

Could be wrong, but I think if Joss had wanted to tell stories about the pre-BDS era, he would've started with them... and if he'd wanted to tell a story between the BDS and the BDM, he'd have done it as the BDM and saved the "Serenity" plot for a second movie. Maybe not, of course. Some authors do do prequels. But Joss strikes me as a move-forward kind of guy. Been there, done that, let's move on.

That's my impression of Joss. As for what I'd want? Primarily post-BDM -- maybe with an occasional flashback. I'm a move-forward kind of guy myself. Besides, jumping back and then jumping over the first series and then jumping over the movie would confuse the viewers -- and I'm sure the legal and logistical problems in running the series and movie as episodes of the new series would be immense. Nor would most viewers, I think, be happy about waiting out the rebroadcast of the first series instead of getting new episodes.

Of course, the REAL answer is, I want more Firefly -- HOWEVER Joss wants to do it.
