With the pj party seemingly over, it's time for a new thread.

There's plenty of berries for all, and I should know, I've spent the past few days picking them.

It was photographed in our backyard, where the blackberries are causing havoc in the bamboo hedge. Here's another shot to give an idea of how it looks.

mornin' drinkers.

hey Nico , Rose-doll , Merri-doll

I haven't caught up from the weekend like I planned to last night, but I will get around to it when I get off today. I just wanted to drop by and say that I might not be around much do to the new project I am doing at work, but I will try to at least check my e-mail on a somewhat regular basis. Y'all have a shiny day. :).

HUGS PR and Magda... you have to see my new shoes! Red suede slingbacks 3 inch heel. They are going to look so cute with my dark blue jeans...however I can't figure out how to wear them in the giant snowdrifts without ruining them..any thoughts PR??? since you're more of a snow bunnie than I am

Got your PM Penguin; made me laugh very hard, so thank you
*hugs* for Jimi
Jonny, shouldn't I be the one saying 'neener neener' on firsties?
MsG, the simple answer is you don't wear them while outside, you carry them. Wear boots, carry shoes, switch once inside. That rule applies for me even when said shoes aren't suede, just because otherwise my calves would get all cold and wet and I would be a sad snow bunnie.

OK PR so now I feel amazingly dumb. I don't know why I didn't think of that this morning as I frantically tried to find other shoes to wear with my outfit... LOL HUGS good thing I have you here!
At this point I am sleep impaired because MisterG decided he had to have the new WoW thingy and they released it at midnight. I tried going to bed while he was out and the dratted doggies paced and whined until I let them in the room, then paced and whined to go back out to the living room. This continued until MisterG got home. This is why I need coffee...lots and lots of coffee

Did we come up with as song?
Did we come up with a name for the new thread?

This weather is nuts! We set record high temperatures on Saturday and Sunday and it was 20 degrees with the wind chill today.

Okay, I now have an expert, or at least a native who by virtue of her origins and residence I deem to be an expert whether it be so or not, whom I can ask the burning question: did Flatley become to big for his breeches when he was fired (just found that out; I thought he quit) Riverdance to go on to create LORD of the Dance (I ask because The Lord could only be refering to himself, outside the confines of the program as well as within). Or am I just so frakin' envious of success that I will stop at nothing to lay low the mighty?

Meh, depends on who you ask. He certainly has a reputation for being arrogant, but that's mostly tabloid talk. When he's interviewed he comes accross okay.

The firing thing came down to what it always comes down to - money. He wanted more, they didn't want to give it. That was it. It left then in a pretty awkward position at the time, but both Riverdance and Flatley survived the split.

Honestly, Flatley seems to like the star role. His dance shows really revolve around him while Riverdance is much more an ensemble thing. So yes, he does seem to be a bit big for his britches. That being said, he's pulled it off so you really can't fault the guy on that score. Guess I'd enjoy my 15 minutes too, and make it last as long as I could.

Honestly? Haven't seen either show live! I know, I'm a disgrace... I've seen recordings of both and quite liked them both. Neither stood out majorly, but that may be because I saw them on TV rather than live. I haven't seen Flatley's latest show, but the reviews are pretty dire.

Not holding it against you. I don't go to many shows and concerts myself anymore. I wouldn't expect you to be in the audience every time U2 passes through town, just because you're Irish, or *snikker* Sinead O'Connor, although that might have "train wreck" appeal...

Now if Joss & Co were to come visit...

They never do, though. The only people we ever get are Groo and Lorne from Angel. Who are great, don't get me wrong, but I'd dearly love to meet more of the cast.

Once missed Amber Benson by an hour. I went to a convention where she was due to appear, and was really excited to meet her. Unfortunately, she got a hideous stomach flu and missed almost all of the convention. She finally made it there an hour after I left - I'd held out as long as I could, but basically I had a family member very sick in hospital at the time and I just couldn't stay any later than I did.

I was sad to miss her, although the rest of the convention was a lot of fun. I still hope I get to meet her some day.

Morning all..well this was a sucky morning. There was a spider in my shower ( for those of you who don't know I am seriously arachnphobic) So that was a scary/brief shower...but things do seem to be improving

Michael Flatley- the ego that ate Ireland ( as he is known in the dance world)

PR- I'm with you darlin it's 7 degrees right now here apparently we do get a nice high of 16 degrees ( that'd be - 25 degrees right now and a high of -16 degrees if you're on the celcius scale)

I'd love some tea please...and maybe some toast

I think that's a little low, actually. I've been using http://www.albireo.ch/temperatureconverter/ and http://www.onlineconversion.com/temperature.htm and they both agree that 3F is -16C and 7F is -14C and 16F is -9C and that -25C would be -13F; are they wrong? I never did learn to convert these things in my head.
In total other news, Mavs I'm so glad you love your icon, and HI (but no hugs today; don't want to spread the ick) to Jimi and Jonny and DTH, and I'm going to go take a hot bath now, I think...
