MAVOURNEEN

Morning, everyone. I'm reposting this from over at the cooler since some bar type folks don't get over to the cooler.

I heard from HK this morning. She is doing well, and the water damage to her stuff looks to be manageable. Her renter's insurance is covering everything (I was thrilled to hear she had insurance!) and are paying her temp housing, moving costs, replacement, etc. Yay HK!
She also mentioned her original Firefly stuff is fine, too. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Thanks Mavoureen! I hadn't heard from her since this weekend and was a bit worried about her. Glad to hear that her insurance is covering her costs.

Yep, that was my point to her as well, but her camera means a lot to her, as can be seen in her photos, so I hope she finds it. Many people place emphasis on sentimental things to help pull them through a tough time like she is experiencing. I hope that finds it so she feels a bit less anxious about it and can focus on putting her life back together.

Honestly - I never understood inflicting (unjustified) pain via pinching or slapping. Very ungentlemanly in my book. But then I'm the type to open doors for ladies without even thinking about it. My 10-year-old does the same.
