Actually just passin' through. Don't want my miffedness to rub off on anyone. Not miffed at anyone here. Just miffed in a most generalized "world, get humped" kind of way.

Be back sometime soon I'm sure.

Oh and as I love to do, I start an imponderable and don't play along. I am slow. At everything I do. Whether I take a full shower or the quick washie-uppie thing, it takes the same amount of time. My being subscribes to the "if there's time left over fill it with something else to do" school of thought. Or it falls into the "pace yourself" school of thought. Doesn't matter, I'm always late if left to my own devices and frequently late when left to someone else's.

If I'm out the door in a hurry, I sacrifice tooth brushing until I get to work, but that doesn't always end well and I don't recommend it. Not many people took up the things you forget to do option I cleverly hid in the suggestions. I forget things. Antipersperant/deodorant has made it on the list a couple of times, but I forgot to wear my belt twice last week. I blame it on the week itself, but it could be my meds, my age (I don't buy it: I've always been this way) or...I can't remember what else.

Good morning all,

I have made a discovery of vast importance! Well maybe not vast, but I have learned that if I stick ear plugs in my ears I actually get an uninterrupted night of sleep! I actually feel vaguely human this morning despite my allergies.

I'm also in a good mood as I'm off to see a local singer/songwriter tonight (for free, my favourite type of gig!) and haven't seen him in ages.

I apologise for not being able to contribute to the laptop fund but I have literally no spare cashy money at the moment, been running my paycheck to the pound via a spreadsheet for eighteen months and don't get free until the end of September

However, goodwill and free drinks for all, let the Friday festivities start early

the good day continues, the sun is out, I got to walk in it to the doctors and back using up a lovely hour work time and got told my toe is healing nicely and that I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist who is actually going to see me

Emma, you could come to the Twisted Toucan this evening and check out the stunning genius that is Kevin Hewick, three hours of songs and rambles in a vibey pub, not to be missed.
