Well you can always get the "unrated" DVDs.

The rated one is R R and extra R. Not for nudity though there is a birth scene that made audiences go "ewwwww". Though in a sex ed class I guess that would be a bonus.

There is a ton of swearing though. A sex ed class should be mature enough for profanity though right? I mean half the subject matter is considered profanity by some.

From IMDB in 1/31/2002

"Cusack For President"

A campaign to elect John Cusack as President of the United States has been launched on the internet. On the site, www.cusackforpresident.com, fans can fill out a form to register their support for the star. They can then order a T-shirt with the slogan "Cusack for Prez" emblazoned across it and distribute flyers - which the site urges them to give to friends and movie fans waiting in movie lines. The site proclaims, "He made the tough decisions in Grosse Pointe Blank. He couldn't be bought in Eight Men Out. He's cooler than John Malkovich. And we like his politics so far."

But who wouldn't want John Cusack for Pres. with Jeremy Piven as his VP? That's a pairing I could stand behind. Might even make me interesting in politics.

Hugs for msg, too. hope the day gets better.

As for soundtracks reminds me of a movie MsG and I were watching on regular TV the other night. Even though they were blanking out the swearing the editor didn't pay attention to the opening song which had pleanty of unedited language.

Reagan was awesome. He went all Incredible Hulk on the Berlin wall and tore the thing down with his bare hands. He was an economic genius too. It's all the fed's fault for messing up his master plan.

Hmmmm new ponderable. Best actor/actress for president. Throw in a vice president for fun too.

Off hand I'm going with Tobey Maquire for pres. He seems like a lovable kid and and likes poker. Vice president I'll go with jessica biel. As a powerless figure head I think she'll be wonderful. I don't think we could go wrong with having her picture in the paper too much.

In honor of the founding member of the 76th IB, founder of the Imponderables thread, and a brother in arms I am graced to call friend, this thread is dedicated to Tristan. I know there is static here and there, but oh well. Regardless of our qualms we have to set things aside from time to time to say:

Thank you.

So here's to Tristan and all of out brothers, sisters, friends who will be representing us at D*C this year. I am rarely so proud as I am of all of you.

Thank you, brutha-man, for posting this, and thanks to all that responded.

We did show well at the Con, and many new family members were forged that weekend. Even managed to get some of us with friction still between us into the same house.

I won't say I miss this thread, as it has been so long since I have spent time here, but it looks like it's headed back to what it once was. I see familiar faces and some newer ones, and that make me happy. I am glad to see this is still going on in some form or another.

Keep Pondering! We might one day figure each other out!

Haha true I think there was an early rule banning politics from the imponderables. Maybe that was a bad plan.

New topic: touchiest subject you could innocently bring up on a first date right before you realize you made a terrible mistake.

Prison name is giving me a complex. After myheritage.com told me I look like Jerry Seinfeld (WTF? It also said I look like Nicole Kidman...um, yeah...those two look a whole lot a like. Not. And neither looks anything like me.) prisonbitch says my name would be boy bitch. I'm going to need therapy soon.

You just need to think outside the box. When I was a kid I explained to my mom that I could make the english language more efficient by changing the spelling of works. What do we need this whole 'y' letter for anyway? 'i' works just fine.

I'm sure you could respell some words to make them more efficient too.

NVGHOSTRIDER

Good morning from The Turd Burglar (prison bitch name).

So this morning I told my mothers boyfriend to get the F out. Of course there are reasons why but I'm avoiding saying right now because I'm saving a bit of energy 'til noon when I go home. He was told not to be there when I go home for lunch.

Think I'll amuse myself with the thought of four inch heeled black lether boots for a bit. (Looks up) WTF? Seems someone is thinking along the same lines as me.

Of course we are thinking alike, that's what us BCMWs do.

The shame! I am embarrassed.

My defense. It was late? I was drinking? I...I...

Sh*t. The spelling Nazis are here to take me away.

I found the mistake, Mavs. You assumed I was correct. Dangerous move.
