Okay, episode 3 and CHUCK just keeps getting better and better. I'm hooked!
I swear my husband was just as excited about watching CHUCK as he was about Heroes. We were both laughing our a**es off.

It's pretty good, I like it enough to DVR it.

Adam is good, but he's kinda "stuck" with what they have him doing. It's a very one-sided character..you always know you're going to get the "tough guy joke" every time he's given a line. Not the type of show for character development I guess but..annoys me at times to see him wasted on such a simple bit, when we've seen he can take the "tough guy" to a much more developed level.

All in all not a bad show though. The lead guy is good.

Oh I think that this is a brilliant role for Adam Baldwin, Firefly was so short lived that people didn't really have a chance to see him do the comedy,
here he is really show-cased as both the tough guy (which he always does) AND the comic relief,
I think it is great!

I'm loving the show more every week, I think it might be my favorite new show.

Dude that Catfight between Sarah and that hot Hitlady at the end of the episode was fantastic I mean I would of only just taken Sarah over the hitlady if I had the choice, I'll be in my bunk

I've made loads of .wav files of the best lines from the 3 episodes so you can use'em as computer noises instead of the boring Window's defualt, if anybody wants'em email me...

I’m giving the show (CHUCK) a thumbs up so far. There are some interesting things going on. Casey is the agent that off-ed Bryce at the beginning of the show. Sarah, Bryce’s g/f? and did Bryce just pick Chuck at random or was the e-mail directed at Chuck on purpose? Anyway, there’s plenty of room and lots of different angles to be considered.

Other shows that are on my watch list.

Heroes- staring this season
Life- with Damian Lewis
Bionic Woman- I think has potential
And Alan Tudyk’s new show. I’m really not into lawyer type programs but I’ll give it a look when it comes out. Be funny if he had dinosaurs on his courtroom table.

I’m thinking maybe one or more may get the axe. I’m hoping not until at least the end of season 2. They all need to be given a chance.

Oh, and back to the subject: I think Adam is doing wonderfully and that this role is perfect for him. Well, nearly as perfect for him as Jayne. There's a twinkle in his eye that just makes me laugh. And the recurring physical humor between him and Morgan just kills me.

Still giggling over the "Morgan Door" from Ep 2, also...

Oh well, gives me a chance to bring up another high-larious Chuck-ism: Anna, the nerd chick. I hope they have more of her. She's not great at enunciating so I have to watch her a couple of times to get the gems she spouts, but they're worth it. In fact I love all the Nerd Herd and hope they all get more screen time as it goes on. Loved the locking cage.

I watch Chuck on Saturdays (because I still can't record, and Monday nights are ruled by Prison Break, Heroes, and Eureka), that's why I'm so late.

And yeah, this show is awesome. I like the beginnings of a friendship between Casey and Chuck (with the "new guy" style hazing about the tango), and the taking the time to genuinely congratulate him on good work.
