HUGS HK... I'd make dinner and mail it to you if I thought it'd arrive in decent shape to eat

HUGS Gee

I'm good thanks, Gee. Same as you really - working away and dreaming of other things.

I want a portal gun. Like that Xbox game Portal. That's just too awesome for words. One of those guns would be really handy!

Well, it actually only opens portals to places you can see (so you can aim and fire the gun) but... it's fun! Hours of endless fun can be had!

ooh maths:)
10) e is less challenging to spell than pi.
9) e ~=2.718281828459045, which can be easily memorized to its billionth place, whereas pi needs "skills" to be memorized.
8) The character for e is so cheap that it can be found on a keyboard. But pi is special (it's under "special symbols" in word processor programs.)
7) Pi is the bigger piece of pie.
6) e has an easy limit definition and infinite series. The limit definition of pi and the infinite series are much harder.
5) e you understand what it is even though you start learning it late when you're in pre-calculus. But pi, even after five or six years it's still hard to know what it really is.
4) People mistakenly confuse Euler's Number (e) with Euler's Constant (gamma). There is no confusion with the one and only .
3) e is named after a person, but pi stands for itself.
2) Pi is much shorter and easier to say than "Euler's Number".
1) To read pi, you don't have to know that Euler's name is really pronounced Oiler.

True. But John Moses Browning had something to do with it too.

His concept was to build a side arm with knock down power, easy to operate, durable, and easy to maintain. Little did I know (after a summer project) how true of a genius the man was. The entire weapon (model 1911) can be stripped by hand using various parts of the weapon as a tool. BRILLIANT!

After I completed the project I realized how he and his team worked on the thing. He handed off some (but not all) of the engineering to them. Numbers were crunched and turned until it was determined that they had the best possible outcome.

So yeah, teh mathz really did have a ton to do with it. But the imagination had nearly as much. I just can't fully appreciate teh mathz because I can't fully comprehend.

I think anger makes my ten friends work and since teh mathz angers me then yes, they have something to do with it.

Well I didn't know where to put it, but happy Valentine's Day to those that like it.
Those who don't, a round of drinks on me.
Regardless of which of the above categories you may fall into (it's possible one genuinely might not even care, OMG!), these wild roses are for you.

I picked them today, for all of you.
Okay, I didn't, but it IS a gorram ice planet outside, and this bar isn't even real(I hope not, cause I just ordered a round of drinks).
So, placebo up some fresh wildflower scent and pretend to love it!

ok why did I get up this morning??? ...oh yeah 'cause my mom started discussing work stuff with Tim( the lawyer who was forced to spend last night at our house due to whiteout blizzard) at 4:55 am really loudly and since my bedroom is directly underneath the kitchen they were in...

I think Valentine's day is a mean holiday... I know of no other holiday where you're excluded if you aren't part of a couple. If you're single you can still celebrate Christmas, Easter, what have you...but Valentine's day is right out. So basically it's just mocking all the singles and trying to make them feel bad...

It's even better watching all the pretentious women getting flowers delivered to them... AT WORK. Then they parade them around to all their friends/co-workers and they compare and contrast what kind of flowers they got. Finally they display them prominently in their offices/cubes and the whole place ends up smelling like a greenhouse.
