This has been discussed to death, but I don't care. I'm one of those who initially was drawn to watch another episode of the show based on the theme song. And Im thankful for that, cuz once I'd seen a couple of episodes, I was hooked. Mind you, Saffron's version of the "Bible" might have had something to do with my fandom....

Yea. I liked Safron's bible. I might have gone to a church with such wonder tales of puffed up cheeks. But alas I am a religion of one. Will have to write my own bible. And it will follow the Safron version for sure.

I don't beleive there's an official full length version, I think all Joss wrote is what's in the episode. I have heard a longer version that someone else did though, I believe it's call Mal's Song.

Mal's Song is really fantastic! Just beautiful. Michelle wrote amazing additional lyrics to make this mini ballad into a full-blown tune! It really captures the feel of the verse (at least I think so)!

I think the best idea would be to simply buy the soundtrack. It has the theme song, although not a longer version. And there are some other great songs on there too.

Aside from the freebies , another 'best idea' is to order the 'Done The Impossible' soundtrack when you order the DTI DVD...Both discs are awesome works that will show you why you're proud to be what you are--A BROWNCOAT !

Must admit , every version of Vixy's (Michelle Dockrey's) " Mal's Song " stirs me to the core of my being...It's on the DTI soundtrack , too .
