My saying so here is probably a jinx in and of itself, so I approach this with cautious optimism. I haven't been on the internet much the past few weeks, so I'm probably majorly underinformed. But having watched the season finale of the Sarah Connor Chronicles the other night, I'm led to the conclusion that a show containing an actress from Firefly has made it an entire season, and on FOX no less. So, I just wanted to say congrats and express my happiness at finally seeing a little bit of progress here. Feel free to agree or disagree, and also to correct me. I'm pretty sure I've said at least ONE wrong thing in this post .

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

According to the email I got from FOX, yeah, those two episodes on Monday were the season finale.

Season 1 is complete with the 9 episodes that have aired. The show is in contention for a Season 2 which would begin in the Fall

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Well, I wouldn't consider nine episodes a full season. If it was a BBC show maybe, but not here in the U.S. They had originally ordered thirteen, but the strike hit by the time they had completed the ninth.

Just got my Big Valley Season One DVDs, 30 Episodes for the first season. Nine doesn't even seem as many as 13. Ahem.

Ok, so maybe not a full season by all rules of technicallity. Bit the irst and lest episodes were aired, and enough in between that I could reasonably understand the plot, and it hasn't been cancelled. Yet. *hopeful*

Well that's less episodes than Firefly and there's no word that it's going to be picked up again. Not sure about the numbers, but I take it the show isn't doing incredibly or anything.

True enough. But the thing to keep in mind here is that this show isn't Firefly. Firefly was supported by the Joss faithful and whatever newcomers the scant promotion of the show could hook. This show is a different sci-fi series, so it's going to have anyone who wants to see what else the cast is up to as well as anyone who's a Terminator fan. Besides, even if it gets cancelled soon after now (I hope not), at at least made it that far, instead of being cancelled after the fourth of say six episodes *grumblemoanpissbitchcomplaingeneraldiscontent* And that's... Well, I guess that's somethin'

I don't want to be a troll, but I really hope this show gets dropped. I love Summer - I am glad she's getting some recognition, but I couldn't even finish the first episode. I thought the 1st Terminator movie was a classic, and that it can't be topped. The fact that anyone is even trying to make anything more of it is greedy and pointless. I guess I would just much rather see Summer in a sequel to Serenity - an amazing, well thought out film with an incredible cast - than a "sequel" to the Terminator - a mediocre film with a poor plot and some of the worst dialogue film has ever known. I guess subconsciously, I want it to fail, so Summer will be free to join the cast of Serenity 2 when it finally gets greenlit...

...Browncoats don't give up easily - but as the days go by...I'm losing faith that it will ever happen. I just think Summer deserves better, and the fans deserve another film.

Just my thoughts - sorry if I offended anyone.

No , 9 eps is far from being a full season...

3 seasons of Trek classic plus the pilot totaled 79 eps...The networks used to do at least 26 eps so half the year could be new stuff , with the other half being re-runs...

Sarah Connor is short by quite a ways...But it's almost better-than-average for a Browncoaty-show on the F-network...

Sarah Connor , as good as it is . is garnering only about 8 million viewers per episode , lately...The F-network is wanting to know if people are really watching it or if they will do so soon...The eps are on Fox on Demand !

Please watch the eps online so the network knows that we care !

Gorramnit , we can't expect the show to find its footing and be renewed if we don't support it !

Look for the Links in my signature and give it a fighting chance ! Summer needs You !
