I'm thinking a combination of all three, and more. My fear is that she'd blow the bar, plus a sizable chunk of the planet below. I mean, if all the atoms that constitute a person's body were simultaneously transformed into energy, well, that would account for a pretty significant kapow!

Or maybe, in terms of utter destruction, she could become a lump of neutronium, and drive a hole toward the center of the earth, creating a giant volcano

Though, now that I'm thinking about it, that wouldn't be real destructive, because it would be a tiny hole, and it wouldn't allow much magma to flow up...

Then I say we grab a couple of shovels and expand the hole (gahhh... nice image, thanks a lot, me). Like my mum used to tell me : " 'You wanna achieve total devastation and mass murder, you gotta work for it. Its'not like someone's just going to come and drop it in your lap!"

Yes, but there'd probably be lava coming out of the hole already, so the shovels would probably melt... Though there is a possibility of that small hole building up pressure and causing the lava to sky-rocket. THAT would be fun to watch

Well, it seems that I don't have much of a reaction to sugar. I just ate two big slices of chocolate cake with fudge icing, and frosting roses... YUM! And then, for dessert, I had two pez-despenser full of pez candy. And I'm not hyper. I'm just more awake than I usually am at any given time, and I'm twitching alot. And shivering- I'm not cold, just shivering and chattering my teeth. But that's it.

But it's getting kinda annoying having to go back and fix all these typo's I'm getting, so does anyone have any advice as to how to stop these twitches?

STINKINGROSE

Normally I can sing right along with a large number of Irish/drinking/rowdy/naughty songs.
Something is happening at present which makes me mentally pull up the lyrics and tune to any of a number of songs *except* the one I'm trying to remember.
Bugger.

Pogues: the one about "this is the last time I get married" (Irish punk wedding song!)

I could probably type out the lyrics to "She Moved "Through The Fair", but it's kinda slow...
(does go with S&BJ Day a little towards the end...)

"There Were Roses"
"Rambling Irishman"
Jacobite donation to the discussion: "Come Ye O'er Frae France" (Makes you want to up and march on some place...)

"Peg O'Nell"
"Cockles and Mussels"
"Queen of Argyle"
"An Poc Ar Buille"("The Mad Buckgoat")
"Planxty Irwin"
"Mrs MacDermott's"
"Smash The Windows"
"Darby O'Leary"
"Dance To Your Daddy" (children's song, no booze.)
"Kemp Owyn" (Okay, that one's Welsh...)

I'll stop now and go put on a CD.
And a lovely pot of tea for Gee.

I'm also going to build a basement for the Bar, whip together a Truly Amazing Still with a special interdimensional time alternator, and come up with something absolutely lovely and quite nearly explosive. Be back in a sec!

Here you go; there's two versions actually.
Quote:

WHEN SHERMAN MARCHED DOWN TO THE SEA by Samuel Hawkins Marshall Byers Tune: "Old Rosin the Beau"

Our camp-fires shone bright on the mountains
That frowned on the river below,
While we stood by our guns in the morning,
And eagerly watched for the foe;
When a rider came out of the darkness
That hung over mountain and tree,
And shouted: "Boys, up and be ready!
For Sherman will march to the sea!"

Then cheer upon cheer for bold Sherman
Went up from each valley and glen,
And the bugles re-echoed the music
That came from the lips of the men;
For we knew that the stars in our banner
More bright in their splendor would be,
And that blessings from Northland would greet us
While Sherman marched down to the sea.

Then forward, boys! forward to battle!
We marched on our perilous way,
And we stormed the wild hills of Resaca--
God bless those who fell on that day!
Then Kennesaw, dark in its glory,
Frowned down on the flag of the free,
But the East and the West bore our standards
When Sherman marched down to the sea.

Still onward we pressed till our banners
Swept out from Atlanta's grim walls,
And the blood of the patriot dampened
The soil where the traitor flag falls.
We paused not to weep for the fallen,
Who sleep by each river and tree,
But we twined them a wreath of the laurel,
And Sherman marched on to the sea.

Oh, proud was our army that morning,
That stood where the pine darkly towers,
When Sherman said, "Boys, you are weary,
But to-day fair Savannah is ours."
Then sang we a song for our chieftain,
That echoed o'er river and lea,
And the stars in our banner shone brighter
When Sherman marched down to the sea.

and
Lincoln and Liberty Too

Quote:

LINCOLN AND LIBERTY Attributed to Jesse Hutchinson, Jr. (1813-1853) Tune: "Old Rosin the Bow"

Hurrah for the choice of the nation,
Our chieftain so brave and so true,
We'll go for the great reformation,
For Lincoln and Liberty, too!
We'll go for the son of Kentucky,
The hero of Hoosierdom through,
The pride of the "Suckers" so lucky,
For Lincoln and Liberty, too!

They'll find what by felling and mauling,
Our railmaker statesman can do;
For the people are everywhere calling
For Lincoln and Liberty, too.
Then up with the banner so glorious,
The star-spangled red, white, and blue,
We'll fight till our banner's victorious,
For Lincoln and Liberty, too.

Our David's good sling is unerring,
The Slavocrat's giant he slew,
Then shout for the freedom preferring,
For Lincoln and Liberty, too.
We'll go for the son of Kentucky,
The hero of Hoosierdom through,
The pride of the "Suckers" so lucky,
For Lincoln and Liberty, too.

Flogging Molly was in my town a few weeks back. It was, well, shiny! I've been singing their songs in my head ever since. They had a signing too. Very friendly bunch.

By the by, it's a Saturday, and I've watched the entire series today. Been busy, painted a room... but playing the series is like having a friend along.

I thought the general tone of the post was the answer. Sherman's march to the sea means a very happy me.

Life's good. Back with the family; got 'em hooked on Firefly (think they finished the series tonight, going to watch Serenity tomorrow) and I just finished disc one of the series with a friend who's never seen it. When I go back to college I think I may try to get a Firefly Friday going in my room (start with the series and end with the movie-should be a good couple of weeks)

If I were a missionary I'd be jealous of my success.

Now I know it has already been mentioned, but I like this version of the Rare Old Mountain Dew (that guy from the Dubliner's has a great voice for the song)

Something about Rugby, but the song's great.

Oh! Let the grasses grow and the waters flow in a free and easy way...

Had an idea-I could also have uploaded "Who Stole the Rum Last Night" and put it on Youtube as a video. Only problem is that I only have it on cassette...so instead here's a song that really isn't Irish, nor a drinking song, but could probably go with the Browncoats.

"I Wore A Tunic"

I wasn't feeling extremely creative, so after the WWI picture I just borrowed one of your guy's signatures.
