"No power in the 'verse can stop me!"

Hello to all those I don't know and much glampage to those I do and have missed! I am sorry... I have been remiss in my keeping-in-touch with you all!

May I have a Bailey's with icecream twin brother dearest? I am sleepy and going to bed and going to phone my man in Boston, but a soothing sip of cold and creamy Baileys over slowly melting icecream would be wonderful!

I love you all, and I'll try to pop in over the weekend! Mwaaaaah

mornin' drinkers.

Yes, I am a huge huge fan of the series too. I think either Tucker or Grif are my favorite, though I do like Sarge a lot too.

*gets Magda her Bailey's and ice cream and some Powerade for the DDRers*

Are you familiar with turducken?
Yeah, thats what I do when I go to the monkey house and make them mad.
It's a chicken in a duck in a turkey.
You know, because the holiday isn't quite gluttonous enough on its own.
Sounds awesome, is that what we're having?
Nope. Although impressive, I decided they stopped short when designing the turducken.
Yeah. They seem like real underachievers there.
So I decided to make my own variety.
What's that, a polecat stuffed in a possum?
Nope, first we start with a hummingbird-
A what?
Put that in a sparrow, stuff them both in a corrinsh hen, then put that in a chicken. Put all that in a duck, then a turkey, then in a bigger turkey.
Two turkeys?
Hey, it's Thanksgiving. Put that in a penguin, stuff that in a peacock, then an eagle, shove it all in an albatross, then an emu, next comes an ostrich, then a leopard! Put all that in a pterodactyl, and then stuff it in a Boeing 747.
Cool. I get a wing.
I call the turbine.
Alright! Hunker up boys, hey Grif! What kinda meat do you like? First class, or coach?
You know if we cook this thing at three hundred and fifty degrees at ten minutes a pound, it's not gonna be done for 11 years.
That's why we're going to deep fry. (Oil Tanker Horn) There's the oil now!
What was the leopard for?
Presentation.

*steps out on the deck to smoke*

*snuggles MsB*
*snuggles Magda*
*snuggles Whims in case she shows up today*

Hey everyone, this is just a reminder that Sunday is Towel Day. Show your love and carry your favorite towel with you everywhere you go.

exerpt on towels from the Guide:
A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have. Partly it has great practical value - you can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a mini raft down the slow heavy river Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (a mindboggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you - daft as a bush, but very, very ravenous); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.

More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

An in leaving for the weekend, I present a holiday Red vs. Blue dialog that has a Browncoat element to it:

Hey everyone! You know, it's this time of year our thoughts turn to our family and our friends.
That's why we here at Red Versus Blue want to wish every one of you a very merry Chris-
Hold it right there, guys!
Doc, stop interrupting our holiday message.
Uh, yeah. Listen guys, you should really know the holidays can be one of the most offensive times of the year.
Offensive? Holidays are awesome! You get tons of Christmas presents, and you get a bunch of candy canes!
But just think about how exclusionary that statement is to people that don't celebrate Christmas! Or to dentists, or to people who use canes!
Huh. I never looked at it that way.
Oh come on. I suppose you want to chicken out and just say Happy Holidays?
Yeah, I don't know. Holidays implies holy. Some people aren't religious at all! Also the word happy might be insensitive to people who suffer from depression.
What?
He's right, you know. Each year, clinical depression affects millions of Americans.
Don't say Americans!
Oops, right, you're right. Sorry. [Grif just stares at Doc]
What? It's a global platform!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What're you knuckle-heads yackin' about? I thought I ordered you to have yule-tide cheer! I don't see any yules, now get to yulein'!
The Grinch over there is tellin' us we can't do the holiday message.
What in Sam Hell? What Commie told ya that? I'll kick him in his Kringle. I'll punch him in his holly bush. I'm gonna rip off his partridge and kick him in the pear trees!
Doc and Simmons are worried about offending people that don't celebrate Christmas. [Doc makes a whiny noise] I mean the holidays.
Eh, still kinda...
[sighs] That don't celebrate a special time at the end of the year. Is that better?
The Aztecs use a different calendar. The end of their year is actually-
Oh come on! The Aztecs have been dead for like a billion years!
For once I agree with Grif. This is total nonsense! This is our show. We can say whatever kind of greeting we want!
Okay, let's all just calm down before somebody gets too festive. Ahem, pardon me, I meant seasonally excited.
That's a bunch of Rudolph droppings if you ask me. I'm not scared of offending people, just watch me go. Hi, this is Sarge from Red Versus Blue, and I want to wish everybody a very merry- [an Xbox 360 guide menu pops up in front of him and the screen goes black and white] Hey, get that thing out of here! [the menu closes] And give us back our color! [the color returns] That's better. Now as I was saying-
Uh, Sarge? I'd be careful if I were you.
They can't stop the signal. Now on behalf of everyone here at Red Versus Blue, we want to wish you all out there a very Merry- [Sarge vanishes]
Whoa, what happened? Where'd Sarge go?
I guess they stopped the signal.
Well, okay. If we can't say Happy Holidays, what can we say?
Just think of something as inoffensive as possible.
What if we just say hi? Hello.
In what language?
How 'bout we just send a universal mathematical message with no implied emotion?
Would you send it in hexadecimal?
Sure.
(A hexadecimal message appears with a bunch of christmas decorations and christmas figures behind it.)

Robert Asprin died.

He went out reading a Terry Pratchett book.

That's how I wanna go: with a good laugh, or at least a wry smile.

(Okay, I don't really want to go, and I'm from more of the overdose by chocolate and good sex school.. but if you have to go out reading it doesn't get much better...)

Raise your glasses and go read Phule's Company.

Hello my wonderful friends! I am very sleepy and I need to make sure I have a clean towel for tomorrow... see I did know it was international (universal?) towel day tomorrow! I wonder what they'll think of it at my new, very traditional church in the little village nearby?

I miss you guys and cannot wait for D*C so I can hug you all for real! Does Little Albatross come in here much these days?

*blows kisses to Gee* Sorry, Honey - I do so hope you're feeling much better very soon... it sucks that you're ill on a long weekend! I'd hug you too, but I don't want to share your ick...

Sorry I have to hug and run, but it's late and I need some sleep... the sun wakes me early these days and I tend to conk out earlier than I used to... sad... isn't it?

*slurps up her Baileys and icecream, depoits Baileys flavoured kisses on her favourite folk - who know who they are - and slips out again*

S-hey.
G-yeah.
S-You ever wonder why we're here?
G-It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it? Why ARE we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence or, is there really a God, watching everything, you know, with a plan for us and stuff? I dunno man, but it keeps me up at night.
S-.....WHAT? I mean why are we out HERE in this canyon?
G-Oh I....yeah.
S-Who wants to talk about God?
G-uhhh, huh? nothing.
S-do you wanna talk about it?
G-No.
S-You sure?
G-yeah.
S-Seriously though, why are we out here? As far as I can tell, it's just a boxed canyon in the middle of nowhere, with no way in or out.
G-Mhmm.
S-the only reason we set up a red base here, is because they have a blue base over there. and the only reason they have a blue base over there, is because we have a red base here.
G-yeah, that's because we're fighting each other.
S-Nonono, but I mean, even if we were to pull out today, and they were to come take our base, they would have TWO bases in the middle of a boxed canyon. whoop-de-fucking-do.

mmm Bailey's flavoured kisses.

We grilled for lunch today, it was warm and sunny.

My sister was supposed to come over with the kids and spouse.
There was a misunderstanding.
She thought it was dinner, and I thought it was lunch.
She's bringing only 1 kidlet, and it's dinner, but we're about to get hit with thunderboomers. Possibly severe ones with a chance of hail this evening.
(The clouds stay up in the sky where they belong and do not form into interesting funnel-y shapes and waltz across the landscape hereabouts so I'm not worried much.)

Tex- Font colors are simple, basic html code, < font color="orange" > (for example) < /font > without the spaces. You can spell out certain, common colors, like orange, green, etc.; but for rare-er colors, or if you want a custom shade, you have to use hex code.

And a rootbeer float sounds awesome right now, I'd like a calorie-free one, por favor ^_^

I went shopping with $127, and I came back with 39 cents....

List of what I bought:
~A gorgeous scarf, all red and orange and pink with a few flowers- looks kinda Hawaiian...
~Rainbow and black checkered wrist band
~An anhk pendant
~Handcuff earrings
~Neon orange nail polish ^_^
~A beautiful teal tube top (when I saw it, it called, what can I say?)
~A beaded curtain featuring a frog on a lily (it was either that or a snake)
~Three coin pouches with Oriental designs (one orange, one green, one black)
~Two Jones sodas- one for me and one for Dani
~And $42 worth of candy

The candy happened by accident, there was a new candy store that just opened, and since I never get to shop for candy.... it was putting a kid in a candy store, almost literally ^_^

And yes, zero, I'll share a little, because I'm feeling nice due to the sugar rush Oh, and I like your new avatar. Very shiny ^_^

YELLOWJACKET

This place needs a jukebox or a string plucker. I'm in the mood for something from the rim played quietly in the background.

*Takes some candy*

Thanks...She went crazy and fell asleep...

Last time I went shopping with over $127 I came back home with six volumes of anime and an empty wallet...Good times...

And I just found out that I'm going out of town for a wedding in about two weeks, and apparently I've known about this for a month, but this is the first time I've ever heard about it. I don't really think I want to go...

And, generally speaking, it leans towards 'favorable' cake.

What might favorable cake be? Does it grant favours? Oooh, is it magic cake?!

If you found a slice of magic cake that granted 3 wishes, what would they be.

It's a serious question and one that demands pondering. After all, you don't want to be caught unprepared if this ever happened to you.

(It is just possible that I have gone a little strange through lack of sleep. Hopefully I'll be more sane tomorrow. Nighty night folks!)

I saw the boxed set on DVD for $18.00 at Sam's Club just last week, so we gave our copy to friend's who haven't seen them and bought the whole thing again.

Damn, he got to it before I could...

How are you Navy, it's been awhile since we've talked. Work still screwing around with your hours?

Hmmm, one of my wishes would be for the takeover to go smoothly, I don't want any unnecessary bloodshed.

Oh! And a full Geneon rescue please!

What she said! Now don't make me come up there and have to deal with you young man! I am nanny... hear me roar!

And I am on the same piece of land as you right now... in the same kingdom, if you consider it's united and all...

And I hope you're tucked up in bed Emma - I don't want to have to punish you either young lady!

Gee... turn yourself around and sonambulate back to bed this instant!

Right! I think I have the residents of Great Britain under control... It's so good to know things are pretty much as they ought to be here in the bar!

*hugs her li'l sis, leaves special snuggles for Jimi, blows kisses to all her friends, grabs a nightcap and heads to bed herself!*

'Night all!
