What can I do to help bring back FireFly?

Like some, I saw Serenity first, then later found out about FireFly. Needless to say, I'm a die-hard fan now. I'm an official brown-coat (and now I do in fact own a brown duster).

Anyway, who do I write to? Who do I contact? What can I possibly do to help make the people with the money realize that FireFly was too good to let go of. I think the vote tally at http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html says it all.

If there isn't one already, I think a petition should be made (and I'll do it myself if I have to), stating that we want something...anything related to FireFly. Another movie (TV or big screen), or even the show itself.

Okay, I sound totally obsessed, but anyway, just looking for some info.

Welcome to the 'verse.

There have been plenty of petitions, but those rarely work. The best thing you can do is tell everyone you know about the show and movie. Lend your dvds to friends and family and tell them to do the same. Target has them on sale through July 7 for just $17.99, so you can afford to have an extra set to loan out, or give them as gifts to Dads and Grads this month.

This is one of those few times in life where 'total obsession' is a good thing...A really good thing !

You've done a couple of the most critical things already...Showing up here , and making yourself known !

We LOVE the new folk ! Y'all are a perpetual source of inspiration and energy , and WE NEED YOU Here !

There's a million things we all can do , and they're only limited by our individual imaginations...

First up , don't ever believe anyone that says there can't or won't be more Firefly...Sadly , even some of those folk visit here and get mouthy on occasion...It's only proof that some folk are lacking imagination...

We have a number of months before the Dollhouse premiere...Now would be a good time to begin laying the groundwork for a new campaign directed at the infamous network that canceled our show...

Browncoats will be built-in support for Joss and Eliza's new show...Provided the network appreciates us for once , we could really get a campaign together to demand the relight of Firefly...And , if they don't treat us right , we can make 'em feel our WRATH !

I want to say , it makes me proud to see new folk like you showing up , and all doing your part !

Shiny good WELCOME ABOARD to you ! Invite some more folk to our boat !

Thanks everyone :) I think I just might buy that extra copy of the DVDs and start loaning them out. I think I would have to, because I can't imagine NOT having the DVDs on hand to watch.

I honestly didn't expect such a warm welcome. I really appreciate it. I'll definitely be spending a lot of time here :D

(BTW, Fong Luh apparently means "loopy in the head". It seemed fitting, LOL)

Uh, yeah...well, anyway...apparently the Target sale on FireFly doesn't apply to their online store. But I found another way. Instead I went to Amazon.com and downloaded a couple episodes.

Now I can loan out my DVDs to anyone and spread the signal :)
