NEEDY

The road to Hel is paved with good intentions

I thought it was going to be a list of obscure series, but no, it was pretty much what I would have picked... well, half of them at least.
No Lost though?
Yes, some might argue that its not completely sci-fi (but you'd be wrong, time-travel? ghosts?

X Files definitely deserves a place on there, as does Firefly (obviously) Farscape and SG-1
Quantum leap I enjoyed but Outer limits? I enjoyed it as a child but watching it now, it's pretty awful (at least, it was last time I watched it)

Its gotta be said, I dont think the list is in any particular order... I highly doubt Outer limits and quantum leap would be ahead of Star Trek and X Files in any mainstream list!

It occurs to me that they aren't just listing the 12 greatest SF franchises; they're kind of listing the only 12 SF franchises... Not hard to whittle it down when you're not leaving much off the list.

Except for Quark or Space:1999.

ECGORDON

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

My own personal list would go somewhat like this, and except for the first two in no particular order:

Firefly
Babylon 5
Star Trek TOS
Star Trek DS9
The Twilight Zone (original)
The Outer Limits (original)
The X-Files
Farscape
Dark Skies
Cowboy Bebop
Lost
Battlestar Galactica TNS

The reason I placed Lost and BSG at the end is they are not complete, and I'll have to withhold final judgment until they are.
